Hey guys, sorry for my absence for the first races, valentines day ended up spilling into Sunday.

I'm off camping this weekend, but the plan is to be home by 4pm, well in time for race 3.

Sorry for missing the round, had a personal issue that require a hospital visit early Sunday which required a couple of days stay.

I 'should' be right this coming Sunday though

God im going to get spanked tonight, I haven't played at all since last sunday and I haven't really played spa before. welp.

You'll be right. I am in the same boat regarding the lack of practice as I haven't been able to get in the seat all week. Still tender but going to give it that old college try.

The things to remember are to keep speed through Eu Rouge and get a clean run on to the start/finish straight

Shame about the DC's at the start of the race, was shaping up to be a good race.

For once in a blue moon, I managed to get pole position for the race with a 2:31:xxx. Started the race with a lot of wheel spin off the line. Cold weather and cold tyres don't really mix. Anyway, got through the first corner ok, slight mishap but nothing game breaking and put the foot down. Had to lift at Eu Rouge due to the cold tyres and early in the piece I was finding it hard to pull away from by and farbs. Can't remember exactly where it was but I think it was 2nd lap and all of a sudden farbs/bj dropped off by about 12 seconds, so I guess they had an issue in the s bend.

I continued to put the foot down and started to pull away more and more. Again, I drove consistently and relatively fast, managing to get a 2:30 for a few laps in a row, but more consistently in the low/mid 32s. For the rest of the race, for me at least, it was uneventful and I just concentrated on keeping a consistent pace and staying on track.

Yeah it was a great race, watching you behind me Bj, was what was pushing me! You had me there for a few laps BJ.
I had a couple of of slip ups in the second lap, which put me behind the leaders quite a bit and then just could't catch up. They were just too consistent.
I managed to hang on for few laps, but that was about it.
Congrats to first and second.!
