It's just about market capture, if you look at ROOZ as an example, people love the simplicity of console gaming. Give them that along possibly the best sim game out there (yes, better than PCARS in my view) and you start making serious money. It will only push the game to develop further.
The greatest thing is if they have finally worked it out to have the same accuracy for the ai and physics on the consoles as the pc then our next up and coming patch is going to be one hell of an optimisation. Aristotelis was saying the other week he stumbled across some simple fixes that has boosted AC's performance by a fair leap and everything should be alot smoother and fluid also with 505 onboard that means more money which can equal to more licences once the consoles are ported so yes there will maybe be major dlc and or updates for the consoles cycle but bucket loads of content for us because of this move
finally set up gaming pc so will look to get on this soon, still using trusty DFGT but will eventually upgrade.
The DFGT is like a new wheel on PC with Assetto corsa and PCars after using it on PS3 for so long. The feedback you get through it is amazing once you get a setup that works (plenty on race department or a post in here somewhere from doogledave). I would like a better set of pedals though.

Driftoz has two servers that are up 24/7 - search RaceOnOz. Marty's servers are a pretty good go to for some public racing if Drift's servers aren't populated. Often though if you jump in an empty ROOZ server, it won't be long before others join.
Is it possible that you have already used that email for a steam account in the past or anyone else in your family? It usually will send a confirmation link to that address which then you would verify to allow access.
