AC Assetto Corsa - General Discussion

TBH the only issue I have ever had was the replay thing. Even when I upgraded to windows 10 everything just worked

Windows 10 any good? Im still on windows 7 as I hate windows 8.

I was skeptical at first as I wasn't sure if the Logitech profiler would worked with my DFGT.
Works brilliantly and widows 10 isn't as resource hungry as 7 was, Actually found i had some improvement in FPS.
Worth the upgrade if you get it for free

I paid $50 to get win8.1 for the free upgrade I've also found fps improvement in games, running triple screen on full gfx and getting 60-70 fps with full 24car grid

I havent gone win 10 yet, still running 8.1.. You cant be afraid of change luke!

windows 8 and 8.1 are less system resource hungry. windows 10 is even better... why? because they are designed to run on tablets aswell

My parents and my in laws laptops are windows 8... I hate it every time I have to help them do something (which is often!) as I can't find stuff lol

Just do it Serge. I backed up AC and p cars but that was it on my gaming pc and had no issues. My Laptop and other pc i just did the upgrad and didn't have any issues

Well still got the same dramas.

Do I just delete all the folders within the python directory to completely remove the extra apps I have (they are all disabled)?

Got me stumped Luke . It will probably be something real simple that you haven't thought of after you spend countless hours trying everything else.
Is there anything on the ac forums?

Found a couple of more things to try.... short of that I think I'll uninstall again, delete the entire directory (losing all my data, although I haven't really played it that much) and then start all again.

I had troubles a while back trying to get AC to launch....found some info that helped.
Open up the Task manager and "end process" the steam exe file running there.

Hi guys new to the forum just wondering if anyone had a download link to symmons plains. seen a few earlier in this thread but link seams to be out of date. If anyone could help it would be great as its my local track and the only track i've ever raced a car on so will be great to compare.

If you google Race Department, assetto corsa and the track name/car name 99% of the time you'll find the mod item we use.

I did just have a look and its not there so its a good question
