A yes or no vote was asked in this thread a few pages back and the majority voted to do it this Sunday (as it was a bye due to a public holiday somewhere). Be there or be Square
with an exam the next day, I'll give the race a go, but if we have the really unfortunate lobby issues then I will likely have to leave. Fingers crossed PD are nice to us next week and we can have a nice smooth rerun
Briefly from me, Quali was difficult, knew i had the pace to break into the 3's, but just couldn't manage it Race 1: was a great race, started 5th (i think), jumped up to 3rd and then to second and sat there for pretty much the whole race. dropped back down to 3rd, and then once purple spun on the second last lap, i jumped back up to second. Race 2: well this was slightly more chaotic. started 13th, and as the lights went out, i released the accelerator instead of the handbrake, so dropped to 14th on the start. by turn 3 i jumped up a few places to 11th and was trying to make a charge. race was up and down getting stuck in the pack trying to climb up the field but having the door shut in my face every time i gave it a try. fortunately for me lag would play a big part and i would jump up to a best 9th, before copper came back past me and i dropped to 10th again. Also surprised myself with the Fastest Lap. Was an interesting round of racing, and one that was rather enjoyable. Cheers for the racing this week guys, onto Indy and hopefully some consistent results!
I can only make it around 8:10pm give or take a minute, but I agree sooner the better. Just not before 8:10 and no, majority won't rule on this one ha. Still annoyed about last night, whatever was going on there...constantly getting 'room full' pop up on that second room. Hopefully be my drop round, though I was really gelling with that course lol
We will wait for you castro. Sorry bout last night but if we had of delayed any longer we wouldnt have started until 9:15 or there abouts
@Petros1ns did you manage to get pat on your list ? @emmo46 , drivers who have tried to get into the room should receive points for last place....bit tough if they try to get in but cant... This again highlights the need to have EVERYONE on your friend list, if you are having issues with this please let me know and i or emmo can help you chase them up. Cheers
@Peter Wise I highly doubt I will make it Sunday night. NRL grand final on. If I do make it, the track officials would definitely need to give me a go on the breathalyser! So whoever is the reserve can plan on racing in my spot now this Sunday Go Cowboys! !
