This video shows me that I have need to practice this track more today before we begin. I'm not taking these corners this quick consistently.

Question with regards to start time. Now we are in daylight savings, is it a 7:30 Qld or NSW time?

Since QLD is unimportant I guess it would be NSW

I just got frikkin DQ'ed in the race for corner cutting. I was running my fastest laps with 144.8 and had already came back from tenth to 4th. Didn't feel like I was cutting. The first lap when I lost it a bit yep, got a ten second penalty for it as well. The next two I am sure I was two tyres on the black. The video replay is gonna be interesting...

That was fun, haven't felt that for a while.

My race was ok but not great. Started off I missed the start so was on the back foot from the beginning. Got myself up to fifth and then did a Whincup a couple of times and that threw me back to 8th. Bit of a battle for 7th but again did a Whincup and bit the gravel again, put me back to 8th. Then for some reason I hit 7th, but see that was from beaker getting booted out. Ended up finishing the race in 7th. Overall, not a hugely bad effort for my first online race back at ROOZ.

Right, looks like I was all 4 on the green here. Still, feels a bit rough for a DQ as I was not actually cutting and was swinging back in to the turn as hard as I could. That was a very slow corner for me.

I also didn't remember to get the in game video. Fezza I don't suppose you could get a short clip of the first time I over took you could you mate? Really enjoyed that battle. Took a risky manoeuvre to get past you. I was in the zone at the time.

Sorry for that bump at the start beakeroo lol was looking to my right to make sure I was giving peuty enough space. Then at the chicane I knew seowster was to my right trying an overtake and had no where to go so kept left and the kerb launched me lol would have preferred if he didn't try an overtake at the tightest chicane of the track but glad chaos was averted.


I forgot to save replay too but do have your first pass, wasn't that exciting you just braked a little later than me

Nah that's not the one Fezza, it's the one where I caught you back up around lap 15. All good on the nudge, I actually nudged Jason as he brakes a little earlier than I would have so I was hard on the brakes trying to not send him hurling in the first place lol.

Very sorry mate, was very excited and could not control myself. It's my first race and will learn from this. Sorry man..

no probs mate, was just glad I didnt cause an explosion of cars at that corner. had fun catching up to you in the last few laps but then I spun a couple of times when I got too excited

Thanks to everyone for racing very clean and those back markers for leaving room when being lapped.

As much as the DQ hurt I can take away a lot of positives. I'm finally confident enough to overtake (I swear I overtook at least a dozen times tonight rather than just waiting for others to leave the track) and my pace has picked up quite a bit. I also only lost it once and I was quickly back on track afterwards.
