guys be warned now of being too close through the top mountain caution is expressed alot here as cars may bunch up through skyline under brakes. then through the dipper. be alert. and have a great time!
I know it's last minute but Team FCR may need 2 drivers for the Ferrari GTE's tonight. If you're available please let me know. Team FCR; Juzzy - Ford GTE. Spidey - LMP2. Woody (DrMoose007) - Ferrari GTE ?? - Ferrari GTE
I’m free to race but not sure in what or who for. Happy to jump in the Ferrari and even happier if there is a tune available
Due to later race start time, I put forward that we don’t stuff around with any delays tonight. We’ve had room instability from creating multiple room also. Please sort out your pit stops and anything else you need. DO NOT jump the start and get a penalty if that happens I vote we continue as normal. Thoughts?
That was heaps of fun and a lot of hard work! Thanks for the opportunity next time i’ll Make sure I have a button mapped for windscreen wipers too. Hard to see when they aren’t on
I truly got pulverized by the mountain on Sat nite, my moment of glory being a 2:02 flat in qually I expected to be put under pressure by the fords (supremely annoying Juzzy wasn’t in the mix for technical reasons yet again) & it was V8 who sailed by on the outside well before we got to the braking zone for Griffins bend on lap 1. I was holding within a few seconds of V8 for a while before my first blue of the evening when I spun it on the exit of Murrays, which I was to do another 3 times before the race was done Congrats V8, you had great pace mate & thoroughly deserved the win Once the wet tyres went on the car I really struggled. I couldn’t get the gas down smoothly & had half a dozen near spins & a few that went all the way round. After 7 stops for various levels of repairs & by the time the last 15mins rolled around I was really just trying to stay out of everyone’s way Great to see such a close race in the LMPs, congrats Benny & Spidey, the 2 hours must’ve flown by for you both Despite all the mistakes, I still really enjoyed the race, frustrated tho I was with the vette in the wet after having had it on rails for most of the season Cant wait for the Nurburga chaps
I think your misfortune helped me along to not finishing last of the GTEs. Manage to get myself in third for a while but had a spin at Skyline straight after coming out of the pits and then got hit real bad. Had to limp all the way back to the pits with some severe damage including no lights (in the middle of the night)! Thankfully nobody came up behind and after spending an eternity in the pits I came out clearly at the back. I had the same problem once the wets went on, just couldn't get on the power and struggled keeping any heat in them. Coupled with no windscreen wipers was a difficult final 30 minutes. Good luck to you all at the final race of the season!
