GT6 [Completed] One-off Touring Car Masters - Bathurst

Considering running a one-off race at Bathurst for old muscle cars (Pre-1980). There's enough cars to not need duplicates so pick early.

Looking at running 540pp, and either Racing Hard or Racing Medium tyres. Must be production based cars ie. NO concepts, pro touring cars or one offs. Also the Cobra is banned too.
Date: 22nd October an 8:30pm Aus/10:30pm NZ
Time: 1 hour (to avoid disconections)
Qualifying: 10 mins
Tyres: Racing Hard
PP Limit: 540
Weight Limit: 1300kg

Very Interested, but may i make a suggestion.
By putting the weight at 1300, you are limiting the car choices dramatically., so you would need duplicates.
All the big bodied cars, the Chevy's, Dodges and such all becme redundant.
If you increased the weight to 1370-1400 kg or so, all of them become available.
If it stays at that weight limit, it will be corvettes, mustangs, and the pontiac and cougar
Maybe not even have a weight limit, just a PP like 550, 565, then there is a wide selection.

Good points. The 1300kg limit was chosen to keep the Cobra out since that would most likely dominate. 550pp could be the limit. 535pp was chosen from an old room I used to race in that had close racing.

Just Ban the Cobra, make it tin tops only

Done. Will change the pp limit later depending on other opinions.

Interested depending on time its run. Probably try and get the Nova up to spec for it.

Most likely will run it on a Saturday sometime next month.

So how many laps you thinking BMX.? About an hour and a half's worth, or shorter ?

OP edited to include current entries. Considering 1200kg, 1250kg or 1300kg weight limit to keep the bigger cars competitive. Let me know what you guys think.
