    Our first RaceOnOZ ACC league season will be starting November 11th.

    This will be a 10 week season with 2 weeks off for Christmas and New Years.

    Format will be using the race order from the 2019 season with Sprint rounds of 1hr with a pit window or 2x 30 minutes, and Enduro rounds of 90 minutes to 2hrs.

    Proposed 10 round season Calendar

    • November 4th Pre-season Unofficial Test race Zolder, 90 minutes Enduro RESULTS
    1. November 11th Monza (Endurance Cup) 90 minutes Enduro RESULTS
    2. November 18th Brands Hatch (Sprint Cup) 60 minute Sprint RESULTS
    3. November 25th Silverstone (Endurance Cup) 90 minutes Enduro
    4. December 2nd Paul Ricard (Endurance Cup) 2hrs Enduro
    5. December 9th Misano (Sprint Cup) 2x 30 minute Sprint
    6. December 16th Zandvoort (Sprint Cup) 60 minute Sprint format
    7. January 6th Spa 2.4hrs (Endurance Cup) 2.4hrs Enduro
    8. January 13th Nurburgring (Sprint Cup) 2x 30 minute Sprint
    9. January 20th Budapest (Sprint Cup) 60 minute Sprint
    10. January 27th Barcelona (Endurance Cup) 90 minute Enduro
    Race Rules
    All Enduro rounds will have a 65 minute maximum stint time and fuel must be added on the stop, tyres are optional with fixed time fuel of 25 seconds for any amount of fuel to be added.

    All Sprint rounds will have a 10 minute pit window mid race, fuel not allowed to be added during the race but tyres must be changed on the mandatory pit stop.

    Race Start times
    Going by the current poll result qualifying will start at 9pm AEDT (Australian Eastern Daylight Savings time) All qualifying sessions will be 10 minutes long, an open Practice session will begin 30 minutes before qualifying starts at 8:30.

    I have added a poll to see what start time people would prefer for full season races, only 1 option is allowed and should have most options that possibly can suit all. We have people from varied time zones with 3 hours between WA time and Melbourne/Sydney summer time so something in the middle is ideal to suit most.

    Feel free to discuss any of the topics here and also put names down if interested in joining the season.

    Currently this will be a single driver entry season only, unless driver swaps are improved prior to the season start and these are league ready we can also have 2 driver pairs. You can add interest in this option along with entry so we can see if this is wanted by any here.

    Entry List.

    The season will be a fixed car season, you are free to choose any car but once you start an official race in one model it will be yours for the season.

    When entering also give us the name you want to race under and your 3 letter code for the car display. This will help create the entry list and everyone can help associate forum and in game names, as in example below.

    "firstName":"Marty",
    "lastName":"Cerven",
    "shortName":"CER",
    Current password for all league servers is "season1"

    NEW Entries Close strictly at 6:30pm AEDT on each race night.

    Any entries after this are accepted for the following round. The race server will be passworded with a locked entry list so anyone not on the entry list wont get in even with the password. To be entered in for the season you must enter in this thread, provide a GUID in the relevant thread and also set a qualy lap in the league qualy server prior to 6:30pm on the Monday race night.
    NEW FULL FORMATION LAP MANUAL START PROCEDURE
    After testing the full formation manual start procedure on Wednesdays warm up races these turned out pretty good and easily manageable, ideally everyone will join the discord channel for race nights to hear any directions regarding the race start.

    The general rule will be to start single file and follow the leader, you can weave and warm your tyres up here but be aware of cars ahead and behind at all times. Do your best to avoid causing any issues for others, then the second last corner of the track start to line up double file (may change for some tracks and be in that rounds thread)

    Everyone should be in formation by the time the field makes it around the last turn and cars on the main straight should maintain 80kmh until the green light is given.

    Anyone going considerably early enough to gain an advantage here may be given a post race time penalty. Cars behind the leader aren't allowed to back up and then anticipate the green to get an unfair run on the cars ahead of them. Same with front row cars they arent allowed to accelerate before the lights are green.

    You guys cant count as I think I was first. :p

    To add to my earlier post I don't mind doing 6 rounds for season 1, then start season 2 after xmas.

    I hope to get some discussion here as nothing is set in stone, I also don't mind the 2 race sprint format we tested tonight with 2x 30 minute races as the real series does 2x 1hr races and we aren't going to do that in a night as its longer format then a single 2.4hr race.

    2x30 with a window is good for sprint rounds, maybe have 1 or 2 rounds where it's just 1x60 to mix it up and the 90mins for the enduro rounds mirroring the IRL events. Or maybe even 2x 45 instead of 2x 30 if 2x 60 is too long, with a larger pit window so competitors can run different strategies to try and win. Thoughts?

    I really dont mind, 2x 45 will howver be a longer race weekend then a 2hr enduro quite likely when you add an extra qualy session plus time after sessions and waiting for them to start. Mixing up the format is ok even Enduro's can be 90 minutes or 2hrs for the longer ones like Spa.

    I dont think people want each race night to take 2hrs+ from qualy to end of last race, if most dont want to even run an enduro over 90 minutes then having a longer format sprint round isnt ideal. I will take another look at the earlier poll to see what the majority wanted. If we had an option to run driver swaps then longer formats will work better for those that want longer rounds and also guys that want shorter formats could team up.

    Solved the issue of who's first. Monday commitments finish in a few weeks so should be able to make some races - maybe not the first but we'll see. Gotta learn how to drive first...
