ok guys....as we know the AWD cars have been voted as the car for season 7.

After a little testing i have picked 3 cars to choose from, ones that i think will give us a cracking season. All can be painted and numbered.
The top 2 cars will go through to the final vote. Some of the cars suggested werent quite as good as others, these three are rasonably neutral when considering all our drivers. (sorry Hat, the R32 was like driving a large bowl of runny custard !)

I would recommend you test them on RS with the wear on fast. All of them rev quite well, and have long gear boxes which will give us slightly more scope when selecting the track list. Tire and wear regs will be determined once the final car is selected, however we are looking at a 2 tire series to bring some strategy in.

Yeah, it felt pretty good, point of difference between it and the other 2 is the lap time and overall speed....everything happens a lot quicker !

Very quick car:) only thing I'm worried about with these cars is the fast wear, we had normal wear for origin in the subi on RS and wow!! Racing was nail biting the whole race. I'm just worried that fast wear will eliminate that quality of racing

Valid points, however we will look at that when the final car is selected and how we can get the regs to work. We want close racing, with some strategy to make things interesting.....looking at 2 tire compounds, possibly race hards and race softs but will make that call a little further down the track after some testing.

I'm not upset the R32 isn't here.... not at all
Will need to give all these cars a run before i can vote, think my vote may go to either R35 or Subi, but the Subi felt too easy in State of origin

the subi was slow when compared to the HTO cars and what we did last season. Given its long gearing though it opens up a lot of track options so should be fine. Personally i like the GTR, but i think the other 2 will still give some great racing regardless.

I really hope we end up with the subi. That car produced such great racing in SOO and the great thing about the car is that because its reasonably easy to drive, i feel the field will be so much closer and it will produce great racing like there was in SOO. +1 Subi GT300

Considering the lack of R32 TC, I am voting for the subaru GT300

I've gotta go towards the R35 here. Subi feels great and it produces great racing but its a tad too easy as Beau said. Evo is awesome but feels......odd :/ I'm not sure how to explain it but doesn't feel right to me. R35 ticks all the boxes and it's close enough to the R32 @Hatfield ;)

R35 and Impreza handle good, the R35 has the power to keep things interesting though, i think it might be faster then the Mclaren in Season 2 actually it has loads of balls.

It probably won't make that much difference if you have a preconceived idea of which one is 'the one' beforehand. We have a great skill for finding supporting info for our choice such that a better choice will be overlooked

Had to go with the Impreza. The EVO is quite dull and the GTR is a tyre eater. The Impreza is enormously fun on any tyre.

Did some initial testing yesterday (more to do yet), I've already ruled out the Evo. Leaning towards the Impreza, like N64TheStig007 said it's pretty good on any tyre where the GTR just chews them up. While the Impreza lacks the top speed of the GTR I reckon it'd be good racing on smaller tracks.
