Alright you lot.... For season 12 we are going RETRO ! Given we are a democracy, run by a dictatorship, Ads, Gary and myself have come up with the car for Season 12.... TBH, i dont know why this one hasnt even been looked at before because its an absolute cracker...... Dont be scared off by the fact it looks old.... the fact is this thing has grip in spades, is really pointy, has grip on hot, cold and wet tracks and will be raw racing as there are no adjustments with Brake Bias on the fly.... STANCEWORKS 2002 BMW This thing is like a sports sedan with an old school body.... Some things to note with it - If you run AUTO CLUTCH OFF, you will need to blip the throttle on the down shift and give a small lift off the throttle on the upshifts - If you dont want to do that, you can simply run AUTO CLUTCH ON, so it makes thing easier..... - The car is small on the track, so our track list will be aimed at giving great racing, with lots of space to pass and runn different lines - Given how small it is, it doesnt particularly like to smash over the 'big' sausage curbs, but how game will you be to run over them to make time ? - There is only 1 slick compound, so no need to worry about changing from hards to softs....We are still thinking of having a compulsory stop though, given how close this car will race, it will bring some strategy in to make time in clear air... We also looked at the BMW E30, which 'nearly' got up in about 5 other car votes, but TBH, this thing is a lot more exciting to drive....
