I've accepted the invitation. Car number 73. BTW in the league session times I posted my day/night shift schedule, you have selected round 1 on a night shift, the 29th. Sorry for the inconvenience, Beau.
How would Monday 28th suit you Miki? If it sits well with everyone else, we should be able to run round 1 on the Monday night. If I'm not mistaken, it should be week 13 so we shouldn't clash with the V8 Series. Timmo, What race number do you want mate?
Sorry, it's night shift all week. The week before or after is what I'm hoping for. Tuesday nights are fine.
So if the series was shifted forward or backwards 1 week for round 1, would that leave you unable to race rounds 2 and 3?
Ok, well the rounds will be scheduled at 1 month intervals, to line up with my 4:1 fifo roster. Round 1 - 29/1 Round 2 - 05/3 Round 3 - 09/4
Those dates suit my 4:1 fifo roster. What about if we run Round 3 during the day, on a Saturday or Sunday? That way we can both attend.
You mean the dates DON'T suit your 4:1 fifo roster. Any time (day/night) race should be ok for weekend in April.
My dates do suit, your ones don't. Ok, lets make round 3 a weekend round. We should play it by ear for now though. Just in case something else changes.
Well, that rules me out unless round 3 does become a Saturday or Sunday. I work night shift all the time.
I'll have a look at that. Not sure if you can run 2 races within the same session though. If its possible. We can even shorten the practice time and have 2 longer races.
No you can't run 2 races in a session in the league format. We ran a 2 race round in the V8 OMR race last night but the second race was set up with a 1 lap qual, they couldnt link the race with finishing order like you can in the normal hosted section.
Lol you were quick. I deleted my post straight after posting it - as I remembered from setting up ROOZ iRLeague S1 you can't run two races in one session With the function 'Hosted Tournament' (instead of 'Hosted Session') I was able to link previous race results to the next race grid. I think you could also manually set the grid. Not sure how the leagues sessions thing works though
I notice all driving aids are on. Is that on purpose? Don't have any issue with it just curious. Also the session isn't set-up to be private.... so we might have to boot any unwanted randoms Pretty cool how the leagues function manages points tables an everything for you - links to the track details, session details everything is there to really streamline setup and comminicating info to participants.
