I'm not 100% sure but it looks like the top 3 from Div 2 moved up and bottom 3 from Div 1 went down which was the idea floating around .

    That was a Great race.
Qualied 3rd, managed to get up to 2nd and stayed there for the race. Was being pressured for a number of laps at the end of the race by Pete.C, and managed to hold the form while pete went off track.
Mael was out in front and done well to finish 1st.

I managed to get out to lap 12 to pit and the first few laps felt really good and was able to push but then it tapered off slightly then pete was coming through so i started pushing Hard.

Well done to Mael and Pete C for the podiums, really good to be back racing again.

Good racing guys! I didn't realise the season started tonight until about 7:30 tonight so I'm happy with how the race panned out for me. The tyre degradation was a surprise in the first stint and was lucky to stay ahead of the battle behind me. In the second stint I knew to care for the tyres a bit more but was unable to challenge QC who charged back through from his second stop. I'm happy with the 6th place, will get a bit more practise in for next week!

Lol same boat! I was away for the weekend and checked the forum just before I went to bed. 6:30pm start for me in WA didn't leave much time for practise after work. I one stopped with a longer 2nd stint and tyres were wallaby-ted, about 70% grip.

Sweet Race time, do love it, just a shame i had the wrong tyres picked on the pit stop app, with out realizing it and it wouldnt let me pit, took far too long to work that out and lost so much time. Congrates to Mael on the win, he dropped back to last on the 1st lap after a spin and must have had a super drive to get back to the front for the win. my 1st top 10 finish, being 9th, shame there was only 9 drivers, lol. once those tyres dropped off i was adding massive extra time to my laps

Really enjoyed the first race of the season, apart from taking out the win which was super great, the racing was close, and the car/track was awesome, love Zandy! Tyre management and therefore pitstop strategy was a much bigger factor than
in previous seasons and this really added an extra dynamic to the racing.

Quali was one of the tightest we've had and I was lucky to pull out a PB in Qauli to take out pole from Koaster, Shaun and Rotor who were all super close behind.
I got a good clean start and made sure to cover off T1 then got my head down and hoped there would be battling behind me that would allow me to stretch out the gap. At the same time I was aware of not killing the tyres too early so tried to take the first 2 laps smooth as I could. The boys battled behind and Rotor emerged in my mirrors and was hunting me down and cut down the gap to around 2 seconds heading into the pitsops.

My tyres had walked off the cliff around 12-13 never to be seen again, leaving me sliding all over the track hoping to make it to half distance with out crashing or Rotor catching me. Coming out of the pitstop I'd gained some time and had about a 4-5 second gap to Rotor and I realised Koaster must have stopped earlier as he was ahead on track by about 10 seconds. With my much newer tyres I was able to chase him down and make a pass into T1 with around 4-5 laps remaining. Rotor made it past not long after and continued the hunt and I was sweating all the way to the finish with the tyres again going walk about toward the end. Managed to cross the line with a gap of around a second to take out the win!

    Cant wait for next week!
