GT6 [COMPLETED] Australasian GT Community Championship

Anyway after the events with ANZGT I have talked so some other communities about forming some kind of championship where we can all race our best drivers in one championship.

The name I put isn't the name for it or anything just the best name to describe the race.

So far we have:

I know stu was talking about getting Pure GT involved as well which would be good to get involved in such a series.

I think if this goes ahead its best if we just choose a car for the whole championship, both of the ones I mentioned would prefer to go with no tuning.

Warrior do you think it's possible to get in touch with Jack or scribbles and maybe getting OLR as well?

I checked the member list at ozracing - some very fast drivers (noticed a couple of ours aswell)

I'm pretty sure they're not interested in Gran Turismo anymore. However we could get Lionface, Theflash, Captain tiggles, Stonegossard and a couple of their other guys. They used to have a site before and are really top quality racers.

Yeah, Lionface's crew are very good.

I made a topic in the OLR forum since thats where they mostly go anyway, I think they would be interested.

Jamie is trying to make a new series and a few members seem keen though so they should have some numbers.

Ok a bit of an update, both series want to wait till atleast mid to late march so they can finish there seasons which is around the time we do too.

They both prefer monday nights.

Im keen to host as by then I SHOULD have my Fibre network connected.

Also a 2nd room for a second team isn't out of the question as well so don't feel you should onlylet certian people sign up.

It doesn't get any better than a team event such as this. I'm in for sure (pending how laggy my fkn internet is)!

the other teams are keen to kick off with this, right now we will keep it to 3 teams so 5 per team.

also need to choose the car, street or race car?

I'll be ecstatic if we use the BRZ GT300. Same ROOZ warpaint, I presume?

How would you think about a 3 race series each community chooses the car and race.

We may be able to make two tiers too, the other communities don't have as much people as us so it would likely require each tier to run 4 drivers each.

What car should we run and what track?

Need suggestions first though.

Id rather each team use non championship cars tbh, something a bit edgier then the BRZ.
One of the base model race cars, my pick is still the mclaren base.
