Time to get the ball rolling again guys. For those of you new to the forum, this event is named in memory of one of Rooz's most loved sons taken too soon. Bruce was the most easy going, funny, and queitly determined guys you are likely to meet online. He will remain in our memories forever. Race In Peace old mate. The event isonly open to those that win their division in the upcoming/current season, along with the winners of eligible events planned and run by various members before seasons end. As a general rule, boost events are not eligible.​

It is a handicapped event run at one of the tracks from this season, chosen by a poll (at a later date) using the car for this season. Said handicaps are based on entrants fastest laps at that track during the season race there, with provision for improvement. I.E. Division 6 entrants will generally start first and Division 1 entrants will start from the back of the grid with the biggest handicap.

With the amount of entries being generated by many community events being held, only the winners of their respective divisions will be guaranteed their spot on the grid. All other community event winners will have to pass through a qualifying event a week prior to the main event (if required). The winner of this event does not guarantee them selves a spot, rather the top nine drivers with the greatest lap time improvement over their season lap time will progress through to the Race of Champions. note - the times from the qualifier will not affect your handicap calculations.


There are no divisional winners, just one champion of champions, so everyone get out there and see if you can earn yourself a spot. Positions on the grid are only via a PM once race/division has been won and in some cases, confirmed by the Mod team.

Hey TB are you thinking of adding wildcards for this akin to the 1st event?
A (provisional) 9 car grid is pretty small for such an event.

could go back to what happened in the very first ROC which was Division winners and runners up. Will see what happens.

Can i be honest i never really make comments on stuff like this but i believe 9 runners is a little harsh. There have been so many quick drivers that i've seen this season that really deserve a chance to run.
Take my division 2 as an example there are 4 guys including myself that are within 13 points of each other that in my opinion is probably the best battle for the championship there is at the moment.
I agree totally that the winner of the ROC last season and the winners of the division championships are automatically in. I also agree with the teams champions being able to nominate one thats
I however dont agree with the other "side" championships having a chance of getting in.
How i'd do it
Previous ROC winner 1
Division champions 4 ( If champion/Runner Up of division is already in then move down one position in the final standings)
Divison Runner Ups 4 ( Same as above)
Teams Champions Pick one that obviously is not already eligible 1
Winners Of Other Championships. Ausnicko, Bryan F and Cola1001 3
Qualifying race one week prior to the race for people who have not got a spot in the race with 1st 2nd and 3rd advancing to the main event. (Anyone who has not made it to the race can run).
4+4+3+3+1+1=16 Runners

Ok. With a max ten car grid at this stage, I will most likely look at the runners up for each division. Might look at reserving one spot to host the event, unless you can find a way in @N64TheStig007 lol.

I do agree with that, ROC is enough.

It'll be in for the Ginetta as there is no tuning I can imagine.

Tried last season to get it going for PCars. Only three?? turned up. Was a waste of my time really. Will put feelers out early for next season and see what happens.
