I might jump in for this season as a farewell to GT5 or an introduction to GT6. As always in these NASCAR events I'll be running in a Ford Fusion (most likely the Carl Edwards Aflac #99 as that's the one I think I have run in on GT5).
Oh alright then, sign me up. Seeing as you are setting the teams Stu, just let me know which and I will buy the required car if I haven't already got it.
Cool guys. I seed all the drivers and team up the fastest with slowest and work to the middle. With an individual championship it still works well, and the teams keeps everyone interested. Worked really well last time.
Hey Stu, I was thinking (I do sometimes) about your plan to make up teams by putting slow guys with fast, I can see where I might end up being teamed with someone about Closey's speed. If that is possible I would like that. If you have three car teams we can include Ad2 and we'll be the three amigos v the world. Mawhahaha
Will be 2 car teams at this stage, although in the last series i did have 1 3 car team....... Will put out one last request for guys to join and then put the teams together..... Looking pretty good at this stage, i think i have room for 2 more....or if i get more i have a format i can use with 2 rooms.
I'm in for this for sure, probably one of the 24's. especially a full length daytona 500,although how about tuning allowed with weight and power set at standard run-in amounts, provided setups are shared to all who don't know how to do & wish for help. We're all honest so it would work,& if not boost on low enables lapped cars to catch up,we could even call our own cautions, with the leader being the pace car, call through wave arounds etc,it's actually not to hard,so long as all play the game,i can use time shift record on my tv to check order at time caution called. Easiest way is the boost though if we don't want to do cautions,to help people get back.On low it takes about 2 stops to unlap yourself and get around to the back of the train again,if you're doing a full length race
Daytona 500 would be good if there was cautions with a safety car system, but without it many would be extrmely bored if they lose the pack.
The 8th and 22nd of Dec are free so we could have round 1 and 2 then, We could then pick up again on the second and third weekends in January, miss the Australia day weekend and finish on the first weekend in February. S14 could be planned to start the following weekend.
I'll be using the Toyota, just like the last time I turned a wheel in non-anger. Looking forward to getting behind the wheel again, been a couple of months
Planning on putting this together tonight or tomorrow guys. Been under the pump at home So haven't got to it yet Will look to start this Sunday with the end of season 13. Stay tuned.
Sounds good, not sure what col is doing.....might be a spot or 2 there.....Even as a sub will probably get a drive each week..... Will keep you posted Stu
