I'll give it a go, even though I was pretty crap the few times I did it in the past.

i haven't tested the theory yet but maybe a percentage power drop per win. So we all BOP and the winners drop from there via percentage points they've earned. if there are ten levels of car it could even reset each time we come back to that N level. Maybe the race win points could be weighted to favour early in the night wins so that the person who wins race one and cops the biggest penalty still gets a good points haul.
if the percentage drop was only going to affect one night then it could be quite harsh. say 10 or 15 percent per win. if we did three races as bryan suggested then going in to race 3 after two wins you'd be down 20 percent or so on the field. this wouldn't be such a big deal though because you already have a bunch of points from the first round.
to really even up the final reverse grid race each podium spot could be a cost of 5%. so race one winner loses 15% for the rest of the night, 2nd 10% and 3rd 5% and the same for race 2. then in race 3 the person who hasn't been on the podium yet has a good chance of seeing what its like to podium (potentially) but doesn't get many points for it
next week we all start with level BOP for the first race again

Only problem with that is with BoP enabled, you can't adjust power and weight.

bop enabled numbers would have to be checked and listed so that people can manually set up with those hp kg numbers and then we could adjust accordingly but all that would have to be checked prior to race which would be time consuming

that's why I suggested the ROC style staggered start. This also stops cars having the guts kicked out of them for too many power drops

qualifying wouldn't need to occur... just host ordered grid, reverse points/rep order for guys on the same start handicap

Would you guys like to try this out on Tuesday 19/12 ?
I am thinking after the first race, second race staggered start will have 1st place hold for 8 secs, 2nd place hold for 4 secs, 3rd place hold for 2 secs.
Further races add further start penalties and they add up.
You can change car as much as you like but your penalties remain

I could open a test room tonight if there’s interest. I’d prefer to wait for the update to drop before starting this officially, those 12 cars are really worth waiting for. :)

I’ll try to go through as many “N” classes as possible to check the BoP, tire compounds, etc. The more cars you have in your garage, the better.
