GT6 [COMPLETED] State of Origin Series IV

It's time once again for another series of Mate vs Mate racing. It will be another 3 race series, with double points on offer for the 2 hour, final round enduro.

Car: Subaru IMPREZA GT300 Base Model '08

Once again, there will be 5 teams of 3, each representing an Australian state. If interest is high enough, 2 rooms will be run to ensure maximum participation. Races will start at around 8:20PM. Qualifying will be run akin to the Throwback World Domination, one lap qualifying for Race 1, reverse championship order for Races 2 and 3.

CHANGE TO TEAMS CHAMPIONSHIP: As there will be teams with more drivers than others, there will be two teams championships.
Aggregate: All results counted.
Nett: Only the best 3 results will count. This will be the main teams championship.

Round 1: Friday 27th of March
Eiger Nordwand Short Track Reverse (RM)
Length: 1 hour

**ONE WEEK GAP DUE TO EASTER LONG WEEKEND**

Round 2: Friday 10th of April
Circuito de Madrid (RS) (2 stops)
Length: 1 hour

Round 3: Friday 17th of April
Mid-Field Raceway Reverse (RM) (3 stops minimum, pit lane closed for the first and final 20 minutes)
Length: 2 hours (Double Points)

All races will have at least one mandatory pit stop with normal tyre and fuel deterioration, with a planned race start of 8:30PM AEST. Any form of advantage taken from wall riding, divebombing or handbrake exploiting is strictly prohibited. Blue flags must be obeyed. If a car lapping you is flashing, cede position IMMEDIATELY.

Joker system: Captains are allowed to nominate any non Div 1 driver to have a nett total of 40 seconds off their time. This is across all 3 races. You cannot choose the same driver twice (unless another joker pick is impossible). What this means, is that a joker can have 40 seconds taken off their time in Race 1, but they cannot have a joker for the remaining races. How you manage the time is up to you, as long as it ends in a 5, or 0.

Jono what say you about having it 2 tiered div 1-2-3 together and 4-5-6 together, all points are combined hence battling for the 1 title

I notice there are 6 teams listed, not 5, and that Tas isn't one of them. If we can, and being State of ORIGIN, I'll kick off Team Tas, in yellow livery.
(if not, I'll slot into NSW, if they'll have me).

I like that idea. Though it really depends on how many sign up, I was also thinking of random room placement like in Senna's F3 series. I'd just like to get 16 drivers for now and see what happens. I don't want to suffer a repeat of the nose dive in attendees in the TWD series. I'd prefer one big room to two small rooms.

I'll add Tassie to the mix mate, glad to see more and more states.
