Hi gang. Been a busy week but thank you to Bryan for posting the results of Rd 1 and to Emmo for providing a results table. I hope everyone enjoyed it and that you are looking forward to tonight's concluding 3 race round; Nurburgring Nordschliefe, Toyo R246 and of course Mt Panorama. Re fastest laps, yes APEX showed his love of the XR8 by putting together fastest laps in both races; a 2:12.577 at SPA and an 8:12.296 at Sierra, so he gets fastest lap points for both races so good work. I really enjoyed the racing and was really impressed at how the XR8 went at Sierra in particular. I didn't push it enough and the XR8 was really up to the task of conquering Sierra. It also seemed quite at home at SPA through the fast sweepers and the slower corners too. Tonight we should hopefully not have the same room, car regs/setup issues as last week. Hope to see all of you there and maybe even a few others might pop up to have some fun too. I watched some of the replays and it was interesting to see the difference between the turbo tuned and non - turbo tuned Xr8's. Top speed on the longer sections seemed to be even but the turbo cars seem to accelerate a little better. I might give the turbo a try this arvo before the race to see how it feels.. I guess I should try and re learn GT6 again and try to get used to the vast difficulties of my PS3 setup, mind if I have a spin tonight?
Such a shame my net decided to wreak havoc, I felt I had decent pace too... Good to play this game again after getting used to the input lag, I've missed the fun of just pure driving.
