Submitted join request. Will give the first stage a go once accepted.
request sent mate!
Hrmmm I'm interested, but apparently at some stage I set up a Codemasters account with the gamer tag "MuskyBox", it's linked to my steam account so I can't change it haha... any objections to someone having a name like this in the Club?
Lol nah get into it!
Championship #1 is up.
More details here: http://raceonoz.com/forums/index.php?threads/dirt-rally-2-0-cross-platform-championship-1.3820/ and obviously all visible at the club link and in-game once you are a club member.
I am thinking once we all come to grips with club events could be cool to spread out the service stops to add tyre wear to the mix, with potential for varying compound strategies.
Also for future planning be good to know who has/doesn't have the DLC?
I own Deluxe version, so that's Season 1 and 2.
Haven't committed to Season 3 and 4 pass. Not really that interested in the RX content, but pretty keen on Greece and maybe Finland. So trading off whether I buy pieces of the whole thing....
Looks like Season 3 is all Rally stuff, to aquire individually is about $30 vs $43 for the whole lot.
I can't remember what I bought, but I'd just buy whatever bits are needed to join events. Spread out service stops sounds great! I'm just starting to work out some bits of the tuning and whatnot.
I really need to get a handbrake (might build the AMstudio one) as I really screwed up when setting up my car for the run last night - shortened the gears too much and was hitting rev limiter all through the fast sections, and as I don't have a handbrake, I moved brake bias very far back so I could kick the rear around which worked fine for slow/mid paced bits - but slowing down from a fast section was super interesting (meaning unexpected 360's/rear entries)!!!
Handbrake is great for this. I used to have a joystick setup for it as a cheap alternative before I got the fanatec one. Worked great.
Thinking for the next championship each event will straddle a weekend, say mid-week to mid-week.
Probably do some events with more stages' like 10 -12 depending on average stage length.
How does that sound? Also do we prefer to do the regular Rooz thing and keep the same car class for an extended championship or are we preferring the change of class for each event?
Sounds great mate - happy to do whatever tbh, enjoying it all!
It would be good to do a championship of sorts with one car/class and do say 3 short stages and 2 long in a different country each week or something like that also that mini was good fun
Championship 2 is live, details here.
Yann71 and JDB666 speak up of you're here or if you know who they are!
