Personally I think it's best that everybody only gets one go at it, because then it's about managing risk not just fluking some ridiculous run. That's what rally is all about. That's what makes it a race league and not just a hot lap comp. Those that want to can practise (and restart) any stage as much as you like prior to committing to the race run. Others like me and Hat just shakedown and get straight into it.

Completed event took a little bit to get into a groove stage 1 was a bit slow. Good fun looking forward to more.

In my opinion I think the R5 or Group A class would be the best choice for this series

Phew! Made it to the end despite never playing it before (with a slow roll and a few recoveries). That last stage I dinged a LOT of fence posts. Hope those farmers aren't too angry!

I wouldn't change a thing @KoAStR, it's a lot of fun balancing the risk vs reward.

I did a stage in a V8 Aston Martin last night. That car was awesome!

I spent some time over the weekend getting back into this properly - I think I can finish a rally now, not fast but at least I can survive!

That was me. Stuff going fast, just keep it on the 'black stuff' and make it home.

shakedown damage carries over to pre-rally service, so if you fatally damage the car, that's it lol

I am a egg. It said there was 8 shaked downs left when I had to repair something. I had not restarted a shake down run yet. Even if I spun I was just driving to the end to learn the stage. On what I thought was my 3rd shake down run I had a spin early and thought I could just restart. It said retire, but I thought it was still talking about shake down. Next thing I know it was all over before it began lol. Hopefully lesson learnt.
Is shake down just finished as soon as you have to fix you're car? Or did I just hit start instead of shake down

Yea once you repair the car you lose any remaining shakedown runs (shakedown is removed from the menu)
