So many stages so little time. Haven't even fired up PC version yet and running short of time with the silly season upon us so might just jump on the PS4 for this event if I can find a spare 45 minutes

It's been a while since I've fired up this game, but glad I did tonight. Had a hoot sliding around Sweden. Stages times not setting the world on fire, but kept it fairly consistent except for a roll over on stage 5 that luckily didn't lose me too much time. Anyway, some times set to chase. Good luck all

    s1 30secs behind boogey
    10 in front of @v8power383
mostly clean, no spins but a few bank hits

s2 lost another 38 hitting a tree and getting 8s penalty stuck on the bank
then went up another bank with the finish in sight
    now 3rd 17 behind v8p and 5 in front of @Russell

s3 hit the jump weird and landed on the wood pile and in the forest for a 19s penalty
    now 5th 1 behind @UrsineSaturn9 and 11 in front of kan3o

    service full repair possible

s4 a landed barrell roll and lost the left mirror on the finishing post (didn't need that one anyway)
back to 3rd 26 behind v8p and 34 in front of ursine (some drivers missing though so must not be completed yet)

s5 only lost 34s with a puncture and subsequent missing rubber from the first junction before the first sector, 2 360 spins later and i'm 49s down on v8p and 22 up on ursine

s6 1st sector green by 10s but too many 360 spins (including a double!) put me 7 down by finish
    3rd, 50s behind v8p and 32 up on ursine

    service full repair possible

s7 6th gear high speed air barrell roll with landing NO DAMAGE LOL (video coming)
46 down on v8p and 44 up on ursine

s8 one more barrell roll to finish and almost killed the final marshall
46 down on v8p for 3rd at the finish

too quick v8 and boogey (3:26 down overall)

    Nice recovery Hat!
No roll overs for my tour of Sweden this time, for a change I did a few pirouettes instead :roflmao:
It's been a while. Shoulda done some practice. Boogey put down a Stella run, especially on S1.

I forgot to change tyers starting stage 4, then jumped the start lol. From then on I just drove cross-eyed for the next 3 stages. I spent most of my time getting lost in the forest lol. Starting stage (7) I was a chunk of time behind Saturn. I tried to get back in the competition for 6th but couldn't close the gap enough. Saturn held on to 6th by less then half a second:thumbsup:
Good fun. Have a good Christmas all

Great fun even though I was slow. Haven't touched the game since the last round of the last season.
Does anyone use any of the assist. Like stability or traction control?

I haven't played since last season too. I never have any idea where I am going and I don't use any assist and I think it shows. If I can keep it straight for more then 20 seconds it feels like a win lol

Prior to your rollover, you're car looked extremely stable. I thought you just had a amazing setup

Very generous of you thanks Russ :giggle: I enjoy the challenge of it, but mostly the immersion.
I find defaults at Sweden are usually pretty good. Easier to make them worse than better! The slippery but bumpy surface is hard to tune for - or maybe that's just limited practice.

Generally I try to make the car more responsive and predictable. On snow responsiveness helps predictability as well as since your inputs are less exaggerated it's easier to counter.

Depends on the vehicle but at Sweden typically I start by trying less camber, soft front roll bar and bump dampers, hard springs. Sometimes camber and ARB need to go back the other way. Then maybe fiddle with rebound, typically stiffer at the back. Front depends very much on the car. Soften to get more grip on the front under throttle. Stiffen to stabilise (often required with stiffer spring); and diff maybe lock up front diff deceleration if the cars stepping out at corner entry.

Happy to share tunes for any particular car-location combo if I have one.

Had a super fun (and sweaty) run at Monaco except for some reason steam connection crashed and wouldn't upload my Stage 3 time. Pretty sure it was a 4:21.5 ish.
