Yeah it was well done , these little cars can get a little wobbly once you put a step wrong , it was pretty good to everyone racing door to door for the first 6 laps , pretty controlled stuff guys .
What a race! Little to no mistakes on my part and a bit of dumb luck with guys gifting me positions gave me what surely will be my best result all season. Will get results up tomorrow.
I was honestly just sitting there and thinking of a move later in the race, then I ran out of talent and touched the grass exiting the last corner..... Don't know how I didn't spin or even hit a wall, but it was enough to drop me out of your range. Awesome job mate! Great to see the 2 oldest in the league take out the top steps!
Was the same on my end tb I suspect you took advantage of rhino losing it , I think cleaner and juzzy had a tap which actually put me behind rhino , I dare say you gained some spots from that also , you had good pace all round in qauly also ?
Actually it was Coojak putting a move on me that gifted you the spot. He made a move on me 2nd last corner but was going off from doing it, I tapped him which didn't help him as he was going past and you went past
Good work Subby, AO, and T_B_, that was an awesome race . I got a good start , got down to the old hair pin and just clipped the rear of someone in the middle of a spin . I think Rhino Coojak and TB were having a good old battle in front of me , someone had a moment witch opened a door for me , so I went through . Up to 4th now , so I concentrated on looking after tire's and catching TB . I managed to get with in a couple of car lengths , and that's how it stayed for nearly the rest of the race . I'd get in his draft on the back strait , but would be on the limiter by the time we'd hit the braking area , so no use binning it trying to do a dive bomb . On the second last lap TB made a small mistake , I managed to get a run on him , but TB was on to me , and was able to cover for the flip flop at the end of the back strait . I made him earn that 3rd place ,and had a bloody good time doing it . These cars are an awesome challenge to race over a long distance , bring on the next one . PS... BE THERE !!!!!!!
Had the pace to win it but one silly mistake followed by sheer bad luck but a stop to that effort... Had a decent start and nabbed the lead for the first few laps until a spin that even in replay I cant explain dropped me to 6th. Was still pretty confident and was lining up a move on Juzzy when couple of fellas ahead came together and we snuck through. Unfortunately Benny’s Caterham decided it was time to go straight to 3rd base with my poor car and my rear end copped a pounding into the chicane It was all about minimising lost points from there...had a great battle with coojak at the end and came home 6th, hopefully that’s my drop rd sorted!! Keen for rd 2
Well done subby and podium, and everyone else who didn’t spin every lap haha That was my worst result in as long as I can remember, this cars requires soo much concentration especially when hung ova as fek,, haha, i was stuck on struggle street last night had so many mistakes, Hopefully I have a better round 2,
Yeah , most Monday nights, full damage into it race . Top bunch of guys , just a pity they dont have time for the ROOZ stuff.
Awesome race last night guys. Well done subg, AO and TB. I Had a good start moved up to second then a few laps into the race got a bit of a push and went off track which didnt help but thats racing. Quiet race after that until i came out of the pit. Was trying to catch up to juzzy but made a couple more mistakes. Last few laps was awesome racing. Have to say rhino you always make me nervous but last night you raced well mate WELL DONE!!! Bring on the next round.
