2 overall podiums and 3 Div1A podiums, really happy i was able to stand my ground in Div1A this season after quite a few mates thought i'd be sent straight back to D1B!
Very close championship all season, very well done to Warrior on your 11th straight title! Crazy streak, and hope your still around for many more seasons to be a benchmark for us all. :alien:
Pretty crazy i went into Monaco 3rd in the title standings and come out 5th, bit disappointing, without the drop round format i would of held 3rd, but that's how drop rounds go sadly, can't wait for next season, and hope to be able to challenge up front even more! :sneaky:
Crazy race at Monaco, plenty of mistakes and wall touches by everyone, made for an interesting race, even if i wasn't able to muster any kind of pace to the top guys. Until next time guys!
    -Bobo

Well that wraps up what was by far my least enjoyable season ever..... Awful car (All 3 put up for selection were, so vote irrelevant), awful track list (given awful car) and placed a million miles out of my depth racing against aliens where simply finishing before the timer ran out was an achievement. There wasn't even a single time that I had a good battle with anyone all season. I was left simply lapping by myself all season trying to keep the car straight and continually looking in my mirror to get out of the way of the leaders.....

Unless the car selection for season 7 really catches my eye this will likely have been my last GT6 season.

Kudos to you for at least giving it a crack and continuing to lead NLR to a good position this season.
You should be fine no matter the car in division 2 next season :)
Now let's focus on kicking @$$ in the HTO series!

Another disappointing race but I guess I can contribute that to my poor pit strategy, the 2 stop was at least half a minute slower.

Coming in, I was hoping to fight for a podium, with Monaco being one of my best circuits in the game, and my last race here was also a surprise 2nd many seasons ago. However I could not understand how I could be so far off the pace, almost 2 seconds slower than Dan in practice. I had to lower my target considerably for qualifying and the race. I aimed for 6th, but Alfa just pipped me, but 7th wasn't all bad.

Or so it seemed. Track position is everything at Monaco and I certainly was on the wrong side of the grid. Forced to go all the way around the outside, it was a huge relief to have not dropped a position. Beau and I were side by side all the way up through Casino Square, but being boxed in at Mirabeau meant I had to give up the position. I intended to pass Beau into the chicane but I missed my shift at Portier and dropped back.

It was rather easy to catch up with the pack as Mint was holding Warrior and Beau up. However as soon as I got close I'd make a mistake, the walls were really punishing. I noticed as the tyres were wearing out I was slipping behind. I had nothing to lose so I rolled the dice and pitted at the thirds distance. My reasoning was that I had more pace than Beau and I'd have a pit lane all to myself. The plan turned awry when Beau and Mint pitted only 4 laps later, not enough to pull out a gap. And now that I was on older tyres, suddenly I was the one on the defence.

I decided to try and stretch this set to the end and hold then all off for 5th place, but I realised I didn't have enough fuel... I was chewed up and spat out. I knew overhauling them after a stop now was impossible. I made way too many mistakes and settled for 10th, well short of what I was hoping for.

Despite the poor end to the season, I refuse to look at this season anything other than one full of positives. It was great to be fighting at the front again and scoring podiums after too many seasons at the back. 70 points is my largest points haul in Div 1 yet it also could have been much more! Huge congrats on Warrior for his 11th straight title. The Div 1B title is a nice bonus, a great feeling to win my first Sunday title since the BRZ, and a big confidence booster heading into S7. hope to see you all back for next season!

    Cheers, Jono.

Coming into the race I was confident I ran enough practice laps to feel as If i had gotten on top of the demanding track that is Monaco, experimenting with various brake bias's and feedback settings, I managed to find a happy medium, using 5/4 bb, 5/5 feedback, 1 steering sensitivity, and was also able to find out that a few corners could be trail braked without much risk of getting it fatally wrong (ie. right hander directly after T1, tight hairpin not so much unless you utilize the handbrake like Mustafur was).

Qualifying went well, except for an accidental unplugging of the power cord on the PS3 seconds before commencement, Ooooops! Thanks for waiting, but even If you guys didn't wait I would have been very confident of getting a top 3 qualifying time with just 1 lap so I wasn't too panicky as the Ps3 was checking for errors, and stagnating on 37 percent for what felt like 7 years!

First lap made a meal of it, 2nd lap was not too bad, good enough for pole at that stage by a tenth but I wasn't content and pushed hard on the 3rd, secured a small improvment to settle for a 1'35.540, which held on for pole position from Aussie Nicko.

Start went well, even though Aussie Nicko got a slightly better start, he seemed to become overly cautious at the first turn, allowing me to escape into the distance, and Mustafur muscling his way passed him around the outside, nice move. Musty remained competitive for a handful of laps, staying within a couple of seconds as he grabbed the early fastest lap honours at around lap 4 or 5, but I remained consistent and eventually his pace dropped off a level as I started building a healthy lead.

From there, the race was a formality, I was gearing up for a 34 after the pit stop, and grabbed it on the 24th lap, thus completing the tripple to finish off a very entertaining season of racing, track choices were great. Congrats to warrior for remaining consistent as ever in claiming the title yet again, untill next time, cheers!

Thanks guys, It was another great season with so many close races. Love the pic @N64TheStig007 and congrats on taking out div 1b

Congrats for the win Dan. Your pace was fantastic.

I had high hopes of taking the win last night, but I couldn't put a lap together during qualifying and started from 4th. As we know passing is almost impossible at monaco so I knew it would be a tough task to get on the podium.

Race started well and I was right behind nicko, however I was way to close as nicko clipped the wall at the chicane, I picked up some damage and Mint was able to move into 4th. For the next several laps I tried everyting to get by until, probably tired of seeing my car in his mirrors opened the door for me into turn 1.

Now in some clean air, I was matching sectors with Dan and slowing catching nicko for 3rd, Nicko though clipped the wall again and this time I was able to dodge his car. Now nearing lap 14, I thought a few would pit and when Dan and Mustafur stayed out I gave my self a chance to catch both of them.

Coming out of the pits on lap 22, I expected Mustafur to be well ahead, pitting 2 laps earlier, only to see him come charging past and just move back into 2nd. Some real close racing followed and some there were some chances to get past but I couldn't finish to move off. On lap 25, I was right behind mus as he took much kerb, unbalancing his car, I made some some contact and his car shot the the left. I was hesitant to make the pass at first.

Now in 2nd, the gap to Dan was 16 seconds, too much to catch. I though I could cut into it, but he was so fast and the gap see sawed to the finish.
