    Yep, the first tiebreaker rule got you: Drivers tied on aggregate points will be ranked according to highest finishing position in either race

    Great racing last night!

    I didn't expect to go as well as I did. Race 1 was brill, top battle with firewind (reminds me of our Grand Valley Battle lol)
    Although, I didn't get any kind of race countdown while on the grid and I just had the 17 secs to race start message on my screen the whole race haha
    Race 2 was.. well unlucky for me, ran up the back of someone on the grid and hit another who had spun shortly after.
    Then a few laps into the race 2 drivers came together before the last corner and I couldn't escape heavy contact which gave me engine and wheel damage. Well that's racing and I love it!

    The Nordschleife lays in wait...

    And congrats to Kaz and team for their class win at the 24hr yesterday. Was great race!

    With the discussion of carnage, I better put forward my apologies for causing some of it. I just could not get in to a rhythm or pick my braking point for the kink last night.
    Lap 2 of race one, I missed the braking point and a choice of smashing into the car in front of me (firewind?) or turning right 50m early and using the wall to stop me and avoid contact. I hit the wall, took damage, then promptly got in the way of absolutely everyone :oops:. The rest of the race didnt get much better, someone (Miki or Anon) got out of shape in front of me, so I obliged them and finished the spin for them - lost another few seconds while they caught up again.

    Was hoping my :):):):) finish in race one would give me a good shot at race two. After watching Anon spin on our formation lap :shock:, I got a good start and got into 2nd behind overdrivve. This time it was lap 3 where I missed the braking for the kink. This time I just ghosted through the car in front and took damage to the front of the car, then damage to the right rear when someone clipped me while I was wall riding the little straight. Somehow kept 4th out of that and managed to bring it home from there with out further incident

    I think that was me you ghosted through. I got a good run out and all of a sudden you were coming across and I waited for a bump... But ghosting saved me. Not that it did me any good, I spun out on turn 3 with a couple of laps to go and that was my race done... Was having fun with Corzza for a few laps there.

    At least I know Nurb pretty well, so should be a fun race.... If I can keep it on-track... Lots of corner to under-steer on around there...lol

    Would someone be kind enough to put up the replay of the first race at Rome please?
    My connection glitched at the end of the race and when I rejoined the lounge I couldn't view the race results to save the replay.
    Would love to see the replay.

    Haha, we went about it slightly differently this season, not quite as much wheel-to-wheel as last season. That may well change on Sunday, we had one heck of a race at Nurburgring last time out (0.5sec after ~1hr of racing)

    Good work Miki. (Except for posting my absolute :):):):)e lap time...lol). Not bad though, all drivers within 1.4 seconds.

    Now, been testing the time layout for the enduro this weekend. Can you guys let me know what you think of this set-up.

    Lobby will be set for a 3:30am start, with a time progression of 20.
    By the time you do your out lap, the sun is up to do your qualifying lap (NOTE... YOU WILL ONLY GET 1 QUALIFYING LAP... MAKE IT A GOOD ONE). In my test, it started to rain near the end of the qually lap.

    In the process of testing again as I changed the progression from 25 down to 20. (25 was just too quick).

    Time progression of 20 seems to work ok. Went to do a 1 lap race with Chev and Disturboed... bloody thing locked up at the black screen at race start for all of us. Must be a sign I should take my flu-ridden body to bed.

    Will try again before the weekend.

    Can I get some feed back about start time. Qualifying will be 30 mins (2 laps total .. an out lap and a qualy). The race is going to take a minimum of 75 mins (unless you're all way quicker than me.. which is a possibility going by the lap times posted from Rome...lol).

    IS EVERYONE OK WITH AN EARLY START.. SAY 30 MINS EARLIER THAN NORMAL??? Gives us some leeway in case of drop-outs or games locking up. Not sure if anyone else does, but I get up at 4:30 Monday morning, so can't wait around too long.

    time progression of 16 should be used if you want the start of qualifying and the end of the race to be at the same time of day. Otherwise if you want the start and end of the race to be at the same time of day, then 20 will be good.

    I'm fine for early, and 20 time progression sounds good, qualify in first light, start race mid morning and finnish race mid morning.

    That works for me, as long as we keep the strict schedule. I think given the length of the race, quali is less important, so latecomers or mid-session dropout = sorry, back of grid
