I dont care about the points or not its not fair if you were on for a good result and got lag punted. If you get lag punted and then quit i think you should still get points. If you quit because your just not doing good there should be NO points. I Know how you feel @Slambobagan I have done that before because of lag punts. It sucks and it doesn't matter what you do you always get hit even if you sit back to get away from it. I feel sorry for ya I had the same thing happen last race with natman I know he can't help it but it does suck. Chin up for the next race mate
I cant believe those lap times it's the same as qualy there is less than 1/2 a tenth between 4 of us with @s54ved and AO just beating me aaahhhhh haha
I have to point out that was incorrect, I was just in front of Seth after his pitstop before I got disconnected. It could have something to do with my new modem/router, though.
Sorry about the lagging Sunday night, not sure what else to try. I reset the router, clear the cache, make sure nothing's downloading, PS3 has ports fwded & is in the DMZ, and I'm on Cable FFS, it's meant to be Johnny-low-lag! I can only assume it's everyone else in my street getting on at once and maxing the Cable bandwidth, coz it varies so much. Annoyingly Sunday night seems the worst. Guess everyone's streaming a Sunday night Netflix marathon at the same time :-(
Yeah there's not much more you can do natman it's just one of those things I guess. It could be the time of night on the Sunday. Is there any problems any other day when you practice
Just ran NASCAR (admittedly our room was only 7 cars) and not a hint of lag according to the other guys. I saw Kieren lag a bit but so did everyone else, so don't think that's my end. I'm open to ideas, only thing I haven't tried is pass-through mode on the router, where it turns off WiFi & every port except 1. I'm not convinced it's the router though, suspecting it's the cable on the street hitting the wall. p.s. there's no slots free in the local ADSL2 hub, so I can't get switched to ADSL2 :-(
Hey guys i might not be able to race tonight I have a few things on but I will try to be home around the 8pm mark. If I'm not on start without me but If i might make it in time I'll let you know.
Well done PD, buggered if I know what cable you have pulled out but the fight we had tonight with just 7 drivers was ordinary. A full re-run will be had, given we didn't even get on the start grid ALL drivers are eligible.
