That's still not a bad time mate :) I'm new to these cars and am running mid 45s so long way to go.

i saw coxy and col who are also in div 4 were running the same times as you...45s.... gives the best racing when you are all around the same pace.

For all the new blokes if you are in a room with some fast guys go back to pits and sit on there bonnets you can bring up there telemetry and see there gears brake application throttle in put etc this can help find some pace.
Also Juzzy has his hot lap post which is a big help

Also don't be afraid to ask someone to sit on your bonnet and give you advice as you run some laps. I had a few guys do this with me back when I started out and it saves you a lot of time figuring out this stuff yourself but they'll also give you advice that you can put into action on other tracks as well.

Yeah, I didn't get a chance too much last night to do that but did earlier in the week. Did help a little.

Was sitting at 1:45/1:46 and now getting a little faster - 1:43 was my fastest but usually still sitting at 1:44/1:45.

The only problem I find with people sitting on your bonnet is the slight delay if they are prompting you when to brake etc ask them for their braking points. Personally I get more from sitting on someones bonnet also use the view YOU race in.

Doesn't affect you if they tell you in advance to brake at the 100m marker or the tree just after etc
Also watching someones telemetry is ok but with a lot going on you miss quick up/down shift or subtle trail braking or changes in gas. Both ways have their merits for sure.

I usually find that if someone sits on your bonnet it upsets the aero.....until turn 1 and they fall off ;);)

Even just watching and taking note of braking markers, turn in points and driving styles for different cars will be a huge help when there is so much room to improve.
