With 140 cars, are we assuming this is a GT Prologue style game like they had on PS3? Just finding out the basics of what the console can do before releasing a full out complete-game? Also, that Alfa 4C (GT3?) looks incredible
I think the main difference between Prologue (PS3) and GT Sport would be that it will be online, whether limited or not i dont know, but hoping that there is enough content to make it worth running events and such.
Half half, it's got wayyyyy more features than a Prologue game. It was said recently they are only not labelling it as a full GT game due to the smaller track and car list, but most other features in a standard GT game will be in Sport So technically, no, it is not a prologue style game, it will have all the features of a standard game. I imagine the lower cars and track number will be as you said, like a test to see what they can do on PS4, i'd expect to see many more in GT7, keep in mind, no standard cars for once in Sport
Well there is a club maker; I'd imagine through club there were options in the features list for "Head to head racing" and "Track Day" and "Lobby" So I'd imagine Lobby is just open lobby? If not surely one of the other two should work... but I imagine Lobby is free open racing with friends
https://www.gtplanet.net/gt-sport-pre-order-limited-edition-details-revealed/ Pre-order bonuses announced. A Group-B mustang? Who needed spectator's anyway....
ONLINE FEATURES LIST: - Online Garage - Head to head racing - Time Trial - Track Day - B-Spec Race - License Test - Drift Contest - Tuning/Settings features - Friend List - Lobby - Voice Chat - Bulletin Board (Could be useful for ROOZ Sunday league) - Spectator mode - Team Builder (Could be also interesting for Rooz???) - Club builder - Colouring and Livery editor (Once again potentially usefull for team championships?) - Number Plate Editor - Race Builder Tool - Photo Album *Taken from Kaz's conference! So 100% reliable
It's very clear we are going to be able to run big leagues on this game, the game is built purely for online competition.
Interesting!! "You can get a real-life FIA licence by playing Gran Turismo Sport, and one that's recognised by 22 different automobile bodies around the world". From: http://www.eurogamer.net/articles/2016-05-19-gt-sport-preview
yeah i think all these features are what makes this so much more than a Prologue, the fact that a ton of people never play Career mode in racing games, and are purely online, means that this is going to be a bonified game on its own.
