Damn this update is hit and miss, sadly with more emphasis on the latter.
New track is nice, although it is a bit bland and featureless, seems like Dragon Trail Seaside is the only circuit that is at all distinctive. B&C layouts will make for excellent racing. A is bit meh.

The Merc F1 is completely broken, do not waste 2 mil on it. The engine goes into idle when downshifting and thus makes the ability to take hairpin bends at reasonable speed impossible. And you can’t even edit the livery.
Somehow the 787B sounds worse than GT3/4/5/6, this was their bread and butter sounding car, now it just sounds like a mosquito. Replay sound is epic though.

Sport mode is ruined now as races are updated weekly, not daily now.

New tyre model seems to have reduced the grip and made the rear end more jumpy under loading. Jury is still out on it IMO. Now I have to test Gr.1 for Le Mans all over again!

Custom suits and helmets kicks ass, definitely going to recreate Webber’s Red Bull helmet when I get some spare time.

Also false start check is back so I recommend adding that to the league OP’s straight away.

Were the Ferrari’s ever right? No.
So no surprise there. Codemasters do F1. I have never expected otherwise.
Tyre model. I and the others I tested with last night including beau were at least a clear second faster than we were in the same car same track as Sunday night.

So? You’d be a little upset too seeing them hype the car up with teaser photos and videos only to drive it and find basic functions of the car don’t even work.

I openly admit to not being an F1 fan in my old age. All too fast for me.
Im just remembering GT prologue etc and how bad thet were then hence no surprise for me.
Whilst remembering codemasters when they took over before my eyes failed and how good it was.
