Thanks for the invite Stu
I am time poor atm and practice is generally impossible nowadays, so getting used to new physics and tyre pressures etc. make it less attractive. I will still consider it though, as I don't think I can race this season in GTS, as I do not know the majority of the seasons tracks, and that makes turning up and driving virtually impossible, so its learning GTS (original) tracks vs learning PC2 physics, that is my dilemma.
Having said that, I am enjoying the old Time Trials that have returned to GTS in recent months.
Maybe its nearly time to separate the days, or seasons of GTS and PC2, to enable drivers to compete on both platforms and increase each platforms numbers, and possibly decrease the difference between the top and bottom of divisions.

Different days for different platforms is a great idea. I'd be up for both for sure!

problem is, move one and then you lose half the guys that can only race on one night .... We have discussed that before.

Another outside the square idea for thought, or dismissal. :)
School Terms seem to determine our seasons timing. There are 10 Sundays, I think, minimum in a school term.
State Term differences may effect this slightly.
Attendances tend to drop in season races after round 4/5.
Both platforms could run a 5 race season, back to back, each term, and most likely increase numbers.
Tighter Championships if drop round kept too:thumbsup:.
Both platforms much appreciated organizers would also get the opportunity to race every 2nd season without the workload involved by crossing platforms.

Or possibly each round is every 2 weeks with Both GTS & PC2 being on alternative weeks maybe?

So, apparently having to use each tyre compound is a thing in FIA races now. Did my first FIA race for the season in the SF19 last night and found out the hard way. 20 second penalty was a bit of a shock!

While I appreciate the changes the Polyphony made to the FIA series, the new start times are a bit inconvenient, well for me at least. I only do the manufacturers series at the moment. The Wed night start times clash with my sport training - I used to be able to squeeze in the 6pm start then get off to training. I can mostly do the Sat sessions but occasionally of course you find yourself away from home of a Sat night. Why are they so spread apart?

My theory is that they're spreading the load across their infrastructure fleet.

Agree, 1h 20min not needed for 30min race. In my view, they should change Qually to 2 laps on your own with no tyre/fuel wear and then the 30min race. 45 min between slots would be enough then.
