@Matthyus there''s a remote chance I may not be able to host and race tonight as we've had a minor medical emergency at home today that has thrown a few things into chaos.
Good race last night gents! Was good going around those first couple of laps with people quite close, and still not crashing into each other. I think I punted Pat once at the NGK chicane just before he was due to pit (still managed a clean race...?) Looking forward to next week, Going to definitely get some practice in though!! Hope you all enjoyed the racing also
Biggest fact confirmed by the race...don't spin or otherwise go off. The time loss in recovery is very costly. Surprised myself in quali, and after my miscalculated long stint on the hards, I did two 4 lap stints on RM and came home with a wet sail.
Horribad qually (dead last - Which is a new first for me....), followed by a spin on the same spot (last chicane) on laps 2 and 4.. Which is odd as that is when the car is heavier with fuel and has grip on the tyres... Changed strats from 2 stopper to the 3 stopper. Had another spin mid way on T3 to T4, just when I was about to overtake @incey Luckily enough I had the pace, so I caught back up within a lap or two and did it properly this time. Reeled in 4 spots to claim 6th, coulda had 5th, maybe 4th if it wasn't for the spins. Not looking forward to the slow corner Autopolis...
Going to be a long season for me. I cannot look after my tyres. I was doing ok until it felt like I was driving on my rims by lap 7. Pitted that lap, filled up and did a 15 lap stint on hards. Pitted on lap 22 and finished on mediums, dead last. Worst stradegy ever. Congratulations to the podium.
Couldn't be happier with my race. Missed out on lap 30 by 4 seconds, but that was 15 seconds faster than my practice race. Hoping I could catch up to Dazza, but couldn't quite get there, great drive mate! Already knew I couldn't keep up with Max, well deserved win! Had a great overtake on ozglenn which was one of the highlights for me. Looking forward to checking out the replay.
I am out for the foreseeable future. I replaced the cooling fan in my ps4, taking all the necessary steps, but the overheating problem persists & it still switches itself off. I'll see if a technician may be able to do something, but if the cost is too great, then i'll be putting that money toward a PS5 instead of repairing it.
Yeah i know. I 'll throw the word out here, & among both of my young lad's mates, etc to see if someone has one lying around that they would part with cheaply, after i see what i may be up for with repairs. i'm not completely giving up yet, but it looks grim
Tried the external fan thing when it first happened with no luck. Haven't tried leaving the casing off though so will give it a go!
