This thread will be used by mods from the Stewards Group to post Incident Reports which have been resolved.

Racing Incident for first rear end contact of Jono on Crunch
10 sec penalty to crunch for side contact - reckless driving
25 sec penalty to jono for pass at hairpin - reckless driving

Explanation of Decision: Appealed
Appeal Result:
Incident 1: Bump from Jono on Crunch, no position advantage, no penalty warranted. It's reasonable to time a redress so that the redressing driver isn't unnecessarily giving up positions to drivers not involved in an incident.
Original decision overturned.
Racing Incident decided.

Incident 2: Bump from Crunch on Jono passed onto XL. I agree penalty for Crunch is warranted. Again in isolation without concession bias from the previous incident I think that would be the only outcome given impact to XL, albeit accidental. Steward decision upheld.

Incident 3: Bump from Jono on Crunch. Benefit of the doubt should apply that this was accidental for consistency with incident 2 verdict. In isolation without bias from previous incident that would be the outcome. However a pass was made as a result of Crunch being pushed deep. Secondary contact has no effect. Penalty against Jono for non redressed incident warranted.
Original decision changed.

Description: Pit Lane cuts by @MINT_GTR @GTP_DHolland @Emree

Decision: 5 sec penalties per cut
The cut by @MINT_GTR where he makes contact with a car already in the lane will be a 10 sec penalty (bringing his total of 2 cuts to a total of 15secs penalty)

Description: Contact in 2 separate situations between @Crunch & @Byron Phillips
Crunch made contact with Byron twice and redressed each time. Once at T1 and again at the final turn both on lap 1.
Decision:
1st incident is careless driving - redressed incident
this is a second offence and carries a warning as penalty
2nd incident is careless driving - redressed incident
as a third offence this carries a 25 sec penalty

• Buster moves over on the straight and makes contact with cagm
• This pushes his wheel off track and causes a spin into a teleport

njknordy makes contact with the rear of josh which sends him in to a slide.
njknordy slows up in order to not pass
careless driving - warning

• 2nd incident

josh runs wide, mustafur makes pass without contact
dismissed

• 3rd incident

mustafur runs wide off track, but no time gained
dismissed

• 4th incident

side on contact with mustafur into chicane. mustafur maintains lead at all times and josh doesn't leave enough space on the outside to avoid contact. mustafur leaves space on the apex for josh though.

Decision: 25 sec penalty to vardz

Explanation of Decision:

• xtr3me gets slight overlap heading into the turn, and minor contact is made on turn in (this is clear as neither car seems to gain advantage over the other)
• as the corner opens, xtr3me stays right and vardz starts to move over
• contact is made repeatedly and this forces xtr3me off track and into a spin

Decision:10 sec penalty and probation

Explanation of Decision:

• Appeals steward was included
• This season stewards have gone with the standard 5 sec per cut
• The max total penalty for standard line cuts this season has been 10 sec
• We do not have the luxury of real-time stewarding where after the first cut, the driver would be notified they are going to receive a penalty and then would be aware not to re-offend
• This round was an endurance round which had an extra pit stop to previous rounds
• Pit line rule change has been implemented for all future races (check penalty table thread)
• Probation entails that if the driver re-offends this season with any pit lane cut causing an issue, they will be penalised accordingly and the penalty for this incident will be increased to 15 secs
• Stewards decision is unanimous

Description: Contact between @Russell & @CaptainRisky21

Decision: Racing Incident
Explanation of Decision:

• Russell on the inside is defending to Holland
• Holland completes the pass prior to braking and Russell brakes earlier than Holland and Risky.
• With the earlier braking point, Risky closes in quickly and moves to the inside.
• Risky makes the apex and side to side contact occurs at the point of the apex as Russell has turned in for the corner.
• Stewards deem that contact is not 100% any drivers fault, and as such decide on a Racing Incident

Description: Contact between @Blunty075 & @webnomad

Decision: Disqualification and Probation (if another incident occurs with blunty at fault, he faces a multiple race ban)
Penalty Table reference: Dangerous Driving - Purposeful Incident - Intentional Contact (Proven)
Explanation of Decision:

• Under brakes into the elbow, web makes contact with the rear of blunty sending him into the wall.
• Web slows and does not overtake as form of a redress.
• By his own admission blunty becomes unsettled and a few corners later, snaps and purposefully hits web off track on the main straight.
• Web catches up again by the end of mountain straight and attempts a pass on the inside
• Side on contact is made under brakes, but web still manages to pull the car up for the apex and leaves more than a car-width space on the outside at all times.
