That was fun.
Started off well managing to take 3 cars in one lap. Followed behind @Royal_Clarkness for a bit but we started to lose touch with the front half of the pack. I believe @Xtr3meNZer made a mistake and it caused the pack to compress again, royal then made mistake getting slightly too late on the brakes and that gifted me another 3 places in one corner. Was pretty much magnetised to @UrsineSaturn9 for the night but enjoyed battling with a few others as well. Came home in 5th after @incey & BHR teammate @kiwinado got past while on different strategies to myself. Had the FL at one stage but I think my FL ranked 4th in the end, not bad from starting 11th

Yep, great race all and well done podium, Emmo just too quick. I was pleased and surprised to grab pole position, but race pace was slower and think I was the cork in the bottle for quite a number of laps. Just couldn't keep Emmo or incey behind. Kiwinado did a good job to jump me in the pits on the last lap, so happy enough with P4. Hoping to survive turn 1 at Nurbs next week!

Wanted to try out the car so jumped in a couple of lobbies this afternoon.

What wheel rotation does everyone use? On auto it was horrid, accidently changed to my F1 360 wheel rotation setting and was so much easier.

Just auto, haven't tried changing the DOR on this car, I've only ever done it for the go kart (at 270 degrees), but it's a pain in the ass as the game resets it every time you leave the pits so need to quickly change it after the race has started

That was definitely a fun race and this car provides some close battles. Made a mistake on lap 7(?) and half spun out of turn 1 and dropped down to 12th, luckily the pack was very close together. Managed to get back up to 5th thanks to some unfortunate events with johno and extreme I did my 1 lap of the mediums mid way through the race and came out in some clean space and a great second stint, consistently in the 1.01.7s and managed to jump a few on the last lap. Awesome job emmo! Consistent from flag to flag!

An unfortunate incident which also took me out...

Was a good night though, got 3rd in qualifying, which I was happy about, and after quite a few laps of following Ursine, I got a bit close to him on a braking point, slowed up a bit due to it, and from that, the train of cars that was following us barreled through - Wasn't much I could do but rejoin from there lol. Some strong laps of close racing happened until the incident with Jono, which again put me further back in the field. I think at one point I was last - or 2nd to last. Just kept my head down, stuck to my plan and carried on - to get back to 6th from that position I think was pretty good

An enjoyable night, and I could tell people were concentrating as the party chat was very silent lol. Quite looking forward to Nur next week, going to be an interesting race that's for sure!

Yeah, it would have put us up there with the front runners without the spin I'd say... though I was right behind you for many laps, I wasn't making any moves as we were closing the gap and wanted to keep that pace up, instead of battling you know?

But hey, it's done and dusted. Was a racing incident, as unfortunate as it was, it is what it is.
