I tried out a bunch of cars, these group 4's with sports tyres were the most fun and I think will provide the best racing.
I'd encourage people to give these a try with SS tyres, especially the Cayman and the 86. Very drivable, just a bit more dynamic and interesting than with racing tyres on, in my opinion.

Might give it a go. I find the 86 to be too planted on racing slicks

I'm not seconding this as a car choice but setting tyre wear on whatever car is chosen high enough to make a 1 stop essential and a 2 stop possible with a 1 use limit on each tyre compound, with none mandatory could be interesting

I think the longer pit stop times have killed any chance of a two stop being viable in a 45 minute race. If three tyre choices then mandatory tyre use would be needed, could even impose a minimum number of laps on each compound, but that would be a PITA to check and police

The longer pit stops reflect real life so much better. The scenario of a driver choosing a no stop strategy vs a 1 stop or 2 stop on softer options would create situations that could see outcomes being uncertain right up to the end. Worth a look at I think.

Pit stops closer to real life need tyre wear closer to real life also. The high tyre wear was balanced with shorter stops, but not so now. Just have to grit your teeth and suffer with melting tyres as still not as much time loss as an extra pit stop

EDIT: i'm sorry but every time this car has been run in FIA it has been a :):):):) fest, and thats racing against some of the "better" drivers in the region.

It's not the cars or tracks that create problems. Surprisingly it all occurs from the drivers seat....

riddle me this, mr. gassit, if you were to put a car that was hard enough to drive on a track in a hot lap scenario, and put another 15 drivers around it, where the physics of collisions are replicated from pinball bumpers, would it end well?
