lmao at fezz glitches haha good work man
Only happened the last lap I think, and then even after he finished hahahha
Managed to get a 1:55.8 on RH with just less than half a tank of fuel. Averaging high 1:56 low 1:57 on RH with fuel. Feeling a bit better about this track than I did at dragon trail which isn't hard. but as soon as I raced against @deedz_aus i binned everything.
Thats quick for Bathurst
I did about 30 laps last night, scored 1:55 rm and 1:57 rh best laps. @Ozglenn was a couple seconds quicker...
Sounds great, but completely unrepeatable. Sort of. The rm time was low fuel, though the rh time was just on song.
I was getting 157-200 most laps on RM, though didn't take much of an error to make it 202. On RH i was getting 158-202 most laps, but saw a few up to 205 creep in. Good to see this car, like the mustang, can go over the top of the mountain flat out. I hit McPhillamy just right a few times and grabbed 6th. Not sure 6th got me any faster, but g i was flying. I go quicker down the esses (and crash way less) if i back off before skyline, though watching others they can hold speed for that bit longer...no idea how they handle it!
Glenn said Bathurst is all about getting in the groove...which feels very true. When I am on song, I can get better times with old tyres than I do with new.
I havent raced there before as last season I rage quit for the last few rounds..
Definitely agree with the groove. I was practicing by myself with a few others in a room, hitting some good consistent laps, and then as soon as @deedz_aus jumped on a chat with me, I lost all focus. No wonder he is first currently
I have no idea what any of this means, but boy does it sound good.
Who's idea was it to start this race at 15:30 you can't see anything going over the top of the hill
Could see even less last season here...
I found more walls last season than track and still ended up 5th. I'm dreading the next 2 tracks.
I'll be last in both of the coming races.
Mine. Good time of day.
I second this. Looking forward to being lapped
Last Seasons Bathurst effort by me....
I did this more for me than anything. My errors and major events per lap.
Lap 1 chase dirt nap
Lap 2 forrest elbow
Lap 3 chase late brake
Lap 4 dipper
Lap 5 overtake fezza and top of mountain barrier, forrest elbow. Last corner.
Lap 6 Forrest elbow
Lap 7 reid park forrest elbow
Lap 8 reid park
Lap 9 overtake aro
Lap 10 2nd corner cutting reid park pit
Lap 11 behind aro reid park dipper
Lap 12 forrest elbow
Lap 13 cutting
Lap 14 Clean lap!
Lap 15 reid park chase FL
Lap 16 forrest elbow overtake aro
Lap 17 mountain spin chase aro overtakes
Lap 18 cutting overtake aro at chase
Lap 19 last corner
Lap 20 dipper
Lap 21 2nd corner dipper
And that's wonderful consistency. I hit a corner almost every lap. That counts for something doesn't it.
Thats not a problem I've done countless laps around this place.
Probably a stupid question but how do you change your fuel load?
By fuel load do you mean how much you use or how much you start the race with?
Depends on your controller?
Wheel or Controller?
On Controller you just need to cycle through the different options at the bottom (where the map is), I think using the Left and Right dpad buttons under you see Fuel Map
On Wheel its just a different button, but same applies
How much you start practice or the race with
That is determined by the race regs setup by @Hatfield
Generally a Full tank
