with the car at BOP it becomes 87% power and 100% weight and the car gets to about 375 and doesn't bounce off the limiter on the mulsanne without chicanes in slipstream, it may do so I believe running it at bop is the way to go and use no chicanes. otherwise, if it is set to 100% 100%, other tracks like fuji would also be hitting the limiter I think... thoughts?
Go the whole hog, what’s the point of running such a massively powerful car if we’re just going to slow it down. If we’re desperate to use no chicaned Le Mans then maybe reduce the power for that round only.
you're probably right. I didn't say in the car vote that I would take the top off the car... also, using no chicanes just because we haven't before, shouldn't be reason enough to choose it...
i'm just envisaging the chaos at the end of the straight after everybody cluster s down at 370km/h! Would make for some good protests
the thing that is funny, is that at 100% you can actually top out before the chicanes too so we are all braking at the end of the straight from 370 not once, but about 4 times lol
