New qualifying rule: just do what the room captain says. That's all you need to know. No counting (or the need for all 10 fingers) required.
Whoah! Started something there with quali lap calcs. Numbers were based on doing the full 10 mins from the start. If you start later you get fewer laps i guess, ultimately up to the room captain/host etc. I rounded down by the way, so in theory you could add one to the number of laps providing your last one starts before the end of the 10 mins. Oh and you Div 1 blokes chiming in here, I'm sure you'll squeak one or two more in, especially at the Nurgurgring.
A pleasing start to the season. Set my race strategy to 5 laps on the hards, then depending on placement in the pack, pit, change to softs, quick fuel top up to 85-90% then run to the end. Resulted in 5th, up from 7th at start. And no offs, not at the chicane of death, no the evil wall after the esses. Some good battles with @Easyprey007 ,@fezza and @Tristan Jones along the way made for a satisfying race.
For me it was a disaster of a race. How do you pass without being aggressive? I practised all week knowing the div 3 boys that joined us were going to be fast and I needed to be up on the ball. Well as I clearly showed that didn't work and a complete mojo killer....
