I finally had a chance to do some of this seasonal event...it is really fun....until you reach that point where you just can't go any faster and keep crashing, then eventually you hate it ! Good time you got Mustafur at Suzuka. very fast. I have only done Tokyo atm...i just managed to pip your time by 0.007 so will put my times here and edit in this post Tokyo - 1,06.124(edit)(edit) Suzuka - 1,12.847(edit) Nurg24HR - 1,42.989(edit)
these are a fun idea, a new incentive to do the seasonals. i got your tokyo time, but cant get the weider one. will try the GTR one tomorrow probs
had a crack at the weider hsv challenge last night. i was pretty wasted and still managed 97th which i was happy with. I'll have another crack today and see if i can improve. the best time is a 1:11.7xx i think, insaine time !
I think i know how its possible though, you got to nail the first 4 corners as best as possible then the cars just yield for you and you can keep to the racing line without trying to drive around them, its what happened when i did a 1:12.3, and that lap could of been probably 2 tenths quicker if i didn't overshoot the hairpin.
do you get an ideal line for those first two corners though? i find i always have to take a much tighter inside line then preferred, still cant get into 12's, will try again later
The Gt300 Lexus is in the way for them, the key is to go as wide as you can without touching it then floor it out, if you nail it perfectly through the S you should be able to pass the bandai SC430 on turn 5 instead of going around it on turn 6, that alone saves you about half a second, then you can easily catch the Xanavi and Weider on the Dunlop Curve getting loads of speed off their draft. The most important stage is what you do for the first 4 corners, It has to be done to perfection to get your time under 1:12.7, i've managed it a few times, but only finished a complete clean lap of it only twice, its not a easy task ill tell you.
Gave it a go his morning on the weider in susuka and could only get a 1:14:899, ranked 15754. A very poor time but got some credits as consolation prize.
Threw a solid hour into the GTR before the Nascar event last night.....nearly blew the top of head off trying to get past that f#$%ing Viper!! but i eventually found the gap...very happy with my time now Nurg 1,42.989 - read and weep boy's!
Ill update it soon, good to see lots of rooz guys in the top 250, and im currently the top aussie in the Weider challenge.
Had my first rage quit for a long time last night wtf is with the GTR!....why is it so unstable when you lift off the throttle? Spent an hour last night and did not make 1 clean run! I know the main problem now is i know where you have to be at each corner to make a good time so you push hard all the time leaving no room for error. Love it and hate.,
if it is a tune seasonal try even out your spring rate/ride height, but i will not divulge anymore info then that. if you want to know more Aussie Driving School start this summer Track hire, Car hire is all included $100 an Hour..
