    we have to have three rooms but that shouldn't stop us from splitting div 2 into A and B.

    Even though I reckon it's a complete mistake to split Div2. The way Div1 is split into a premier and challenger subdivision is a unique idea that shouldn't be replicated elsewhere. There's no good reason to split them more. Make it a 4 division season if need be. 6 people per lobby? Sounds stale... on average, one person isn't showing up each week. That means each week is basically spending the track time with yourself, making the league no different to a public race lobby or time trial. I join leagues to race in fully fledged organised race seasons. I'm not looking forward to such a spectacle... How many IRL race seasons only have 6 participants?

    Huge mistake...

    I think you'll find that all Div 2 drivers race together regardless of A or B, so you'll still racing against reasonable numbers on track. It's just the results that get sorted. Ie, you might come 4th but still win 2B

    Then what's the purpose of it? We're all in the same race with the same spec cars...

    I've been away for a few seasons, but I remembe everyone here being perfectly capable of racing against each other at the same level... Why is 2B deemed to be lesser if we're just as fast?

    EDIT: And I'll even hark back to my previous post: the idea that Div1 is split between a premier and challenger series is unique, interesting AND relevant. The premise that Div2 is actually a separate level from 1B is an important aspect to being a Div1 challenger.

    Div2 doesn't need to be split unnecessarily...

    Yes, I'd love that. The entire goal of a race is to be the leader/winner, who sets the pace. If I'm running behind ANY car on track that is equal, it's an obligation to be pushing to get past said car. Being content with a lesser performance means you'll never push yourself.

    I hope that I'm not looking like a whinging child with this...

    Doesn't anyone else feel that it is demeaning to be split into tiers with equal opponents on the same track? Does the leading points holder of 2B really win anything when said person has been continually beaten all season in equal cars?

    I'd much rather come last in 2A knowing that it was my goal to win races and positions than to win or fight up the front in a 'faux' championship.

    I kinda have to agree somewhat with @Crunch . I wouldn't split division 2 into an A and B

    The Div 2B guys are fighting for and can still win the outright Div 2 title. 2B just allows those that are a little further down the field who can't quite achieve the outright placings chase a prize.

    I have to agree with Crunch here. I don't think the pace spread in Division 2 justifies having sub-divisions like in Division 1.
