    thanks for keeping this going @emmo46

    sorry that I had to park up after mid-race. My hands/feet have been crap due to the summer weather and they were doing ok until some cooler days had me thinking this was my only chance to do the lawns etc and I ended up worse for wear. big blister in the palm of my hand wasn't doing me any favors and the pain just became too much to continue.

    No, 3 for 1st and 2 for second from this race. 3 added to norm's previous 0 makes him 3, halved to 1.5 and rounded down to 1 for the final round. Your 2 for second added to your previous 3 makes a total of 5, 4 is the max so that leaves you 4 halved to 2 for the final round.

    Not sure if the BMW's fuel consumption is that bad or I need to learn how to fuel conserve better. But having 3L left by lap 15 and noticing everyone else fuel levels miles above mine (in the 20's or even 30's) and losing enormous time to refueling kinda put a damper on what I thought was a solid race other than that. Had fun in 3rd trying to keep up with @Noremac and @Knuckles and watching them battle until the pit.
    Ended up in no mans land in fifth after pits. @apex2691 was on the hunt behind me and was going fast. I enjoyed defending for a few laps as I tried to come to terms with my suddenly heavier car. But Apex eventually got me into the hairpin but i was able to keep the pressure on him for a few laps. He eventually made a mistake going too deep and he just touched the sand and I was able to glide on through back into 5th. Not sure what happened to you after that? You seemed to be struggling?

    Last lap and @Bryan_F in 4th went into heavy fuel saving and was running on fumes. He did so well get that car almost all the way. I say almost because he lost power just after the final corner going onto the straight. I would receive a beautiful gift of 4th just inching past him at the last millisecond to the checkered flag. I felt bad laughing at his misfortune haha. Bad luck buddy.

    I look forward to the next race. Anyone have any pointers on what I can do to improve my fuel consumption? Does everyone race at level 2 or 3 or less?

    I just ran a season in the bmw and its fuel consumption is definitely crap. All the power is sown low so you can shift early and still be as quick. As for Bryan/Jim, its not the first time he has ran out of fuel in the lambo.

    You were bloody hared to catch and pass, you were flying yourself. :thumbsup:
    But just after I passed you, my wheel turned off and when I turned it back on, it didn't calibrate and I lost ffb. :mad:
    You were back on my arse, and I tried to keep "racing" but it was comical really. :giggle:
    Someone else needs to learn to spell redress ;)
