Great vid Outta. Good to see how you've really attacked the lap, where your down shifting (and not) and your pedal inputs. The chase view gives a good feel for where you're placing the car on the track. Nice lap

Keep in mind I reckon there is time to be found on my lap on turns 1 (i hit an early apex), 7 (was wide of the apex) and 16 (on entry didn't use all the track on the left hand side). In fact on the lap following the one in the vid i was a solid .15 up after turn 1 before binning it at 7 by going too deep. I reckon there is probably a good .4 if I fix up those corners. My optimal is currently a 1:57.3 Track for reference:
I think the key corners are, 1 and 17. My setup is awesome everywhere else, but is too unstable on entry with 1 and 17. But I'm pretty reluctant to add rear wing, I'd rather take front wing out, or find the grip mechanically. My stubbornness is my archilles heel!

Yer Beau not a corner to stick ya nose in, i thought he had backed off but as I turned in (as wide as i could there and still make it at speed) bang, arse out catch it, and bang again front gone. Not to worry the guy learnt from that and had a clean race from then on. I did a similar thing to Jay, who does the Monday night broadcast, at Suzuka on the sweeper on the last lap he ran wide and I tucked inside he came down and we had a cuddle mid corner but both came out with no damage. You just can't stick this V8 beast where you like, like you can in GT5, it needs a specific line to get through corners at speed, a little off line and you loose heaps of traction and time. Hey Beau you got that guide on setting up triple screens written up? I just ordered my 2 new monitors and need a few pointers on connecting and settings, got a fair bit of info by trolling forums but just not sure I got it all. What connections you use, like do you use the HDMI for centre screen and VGA for the other 2, and do you set lower resolution for the side 2 etc etc.

I have done video before but yet to do a decent one on iRacing only time away from playing the darn game! Must say its been enjoyable and I have found a new love for sim racing!
