I had a real interesting race weekend of my own. Managed to win the Lismore Club meet. TAG Restricted Light.

This was my first time there. Awesome track, Bumpy as hell in places so really physical.

I live in Lismore haha. I've been around it a few times.
Yeh it is pretty rough haha. The vibrations going up the straight after the hairpin are pretty intense.

Lismore eh. I used to live around Byron, Ballina and lennox for 7-8 years odd on a John Howard surf trip. Not sure if Ive mentioned that before :/

I went to a track day last week and pb'ed by 2.6 seconds, knew I could do it just a matter of putting a lap together. Off to Cobra Nationals this week too so fun times!

What tyres are on that bad boy?

It's a 302 Mustang engine, puts out ~330rwhp. It's my dad's car and luckily he gives me a crack at driving it.

Beau, it's running a semi slick tyre at the moment (Toyo R888). Just a pretty basic "track day" style tyre really.

Dave, yeah there's more in it. The Squiggly lines suggest that I can do a 1:08.8 (Optimal lap) but it's just a matter of the track conditions being right and the driver being talented enough.
