Welcome everyone, to Project Cars 2, with CyberGamer and LPL. For 2019, we have announced more than 20k in prize money to be used exclusively for you players! The 2019 year will be open for any user across Australia and New Zealand to compete in. So let everyone know, now is the time! This will be a first for CyberGamer to host a racing sim, so jump on board!

We are aiming to bring some consistent competition for players of all skill levels from seasoned players through to the newbies, and to do that we have introduced 3 different divisions.

Challenger: $3k prize pool, pay to play, 16 player invite division
Amateur: $2k prize pool, pay to play, open for all players
Open: $250 prize pool, free to play, open for all players

To play in Challenger and Amateur, players must be subscribed. You can subscribe here: https://www.cybergamer.com/subscription/

Our intent is to introduce the LPL Pro division for Season 2, which will take the top 8 out of Season 1 Challenger division and another 8 who made it through an FFYI, where matches will be broadcasted live on TV, with LAN finals in Auckland and $6k up for grabs. Alongside that, we will implement a fully featured promotion and demotion system so players can rise and fall as their skills dictate.

    FFYI (Fight for your invite)
To determine who will play in the Challenger division, we will host an FFYI this Sunday the 27th of January at 2pm AEDT. Players will be sorted in to lobbies of 16 upon tournament start. They will play a specified circuit map with the top 8 advancing in to another group, while the bottom 8 are eliminated. Once we reach a stage where there are only 16 players left in the final group, they will be invited in to the Challenger division.

Teams should sign up for the open and amateur divisions in preparation for the season, and if you get invited to Challenger, you will be moved up there from the div you are currently in.

Every Thursday Night during a season, players will be promoted to click a ready up button to say that you are competing tonight. You will then be sorted in to a lobby of 16 players and will race in a randomised track. Following this first game, you will be assigned a second lobby of mostly different players to play a second game.
This is the case for all divisions except Challenger. They will have a set lobby of the same 16 players to play two matches with every Thursday night.

    Cars and Track Types
Players must use GT3 car types. A full map list of the circuit maps being used can be found in the rules page.
