Well, first up, HOLY
That was the most intense, nerve-wracking race I have had the pleasure of partaking in as a part of ROOZ, a 40 lap battle with @Slambobagan for the championship.
First point went to Slambo for pole position, he defended well for the first few laps before a mistake dropped him behind. A theme started of me being caught by Slambo, getting let off the hook by a spin and then same again. Eventually he got by me and I played catch up from there. Magically finding close to an extra second a lap while begin him I closed up but spun looking for a run onto the straight without about 5 to go. I couldn’t quite catch him on the final lap and he crossed the line in 3rd with myself in 4th....triggering a new drop round for me.

With the points from this race, I ended up 152 over Slambo on 148
With the drop round included the gap shrinks to 138 over 137.....got there by an inch

Also big congrats to @nigegunz on the win and @POPPINFRESH1234 on 2nd, you guys capitalised on Slambo and I fiercely battling and just absolutely ran away from us towards the end

wow what a race!! Was a good battle with rhino probably one of the best races I’ve been apart of.. gutted that we come together and let the others through my fault.. if it was a 1-2 finish we would be tied in points and I might have got my 3rd title,, but congrats on the ya first championship rhino.. and Well done nige, for the win, poppin for 2nd, cheers for the big grids every week guys best season in a long time..

Its a pity we have to restart because things may have been even more interesting as Slambo and Rhino took each out and gave me the lead ..... Not sure if they did that for fun knowing the restart was coming .

I have had a good look at the replay of the restart of the race , Rhino and Slambo bumper to bumper coming onto the race straight with 3 and 4th very close behind , In the replay 4th runs up the back of 3rd I barely avoid AO in 5th I think (he's goes left I go right) avoiding contact "just" then some one come flying through "obviously on throttle , which I cant blame them" and I guess they were trying to re address as the race hadn't started yet " they backed of completely and I punted them of the track as I was on throttle " .
I am sorry to who ever it was " there was no Intention " if you have a look at the replay of the start of the race".
Once again I am sorry to be apart of ruining someone's race before we have even got to the start line . Myself I would be pissed and I can appreciate if you are . Kart ?

That aside I could only keep up with the top 4 or 5 for 6 laps or so and made a minor mistake , but enough of one to fall of the pace and not really ever recover , I think Stozza , Benny and AO chased me down and passed with no issues , AO Made a couple of mistakes and never recovered coming in behind me .
My self as a hole in the last race of the season I was happy to make 41 laps and come in 7th with out too many mistakes apart from the start .......

Thank for a good first season in Rooz and I look forward to division 8 next year ......Thank you Stu and all the admins that make this all possible .

Nah, all good sub, was my fault at the start. Thought everyone was going at the start, then wondered why some guys were "redressing" then realised we were not yet racing so backed off. No hard feelings mate.

Before the restart I had rhino loudly explaining to me I wasn’t allowed to go before the last turn or else he’d protest me, so I thought I’d wait till I was halfway down the straight to prevent him from getting any advantage of a slipstream into t1, sorry if it caused some carnage in the mid pack,

No , all good slambo that's your option with the start .

as many have already said, last nights race was one of the most satisfying in my time with rooz. the intensity & respect shown by all is what makes racing with rooz racers the reason i look forward to it so much
my aim this season was to be a frontrunner & be on the pace for podiums & if my pace is good enough to challenge for victory
i honestly felt that i had a huge advantage with the track roster as most are F1 tracks that i know very well & COTA is absolutely one of my fav tracks so to take the win was especially satisfying
when Rhino, Slambo, Poppin & myself were so close with about 15 laps to go, i knew it was going to be about avoiding trouble as it was inevitable that Rhino & Slambo got caught up in their own intense battle for the title & when it did happen into T1 Poppin & me just slipped on by without any probs interfering
big thanks & congratulations to all in Div1 & indeed all the divisions, we all have our own desires & expectations but it doesn't stop anyone from giving the respect that everyone on the grid deserves
massive thanks to Stu for putting all the legwork in organising this series, I'm already looking forward to next season & going again

Rhino, you did it mate & got yourself a rooz championship! enjoy it

Just a heads up for everyone:

I know you're all probably itching to see the final championship tables. The cut-off for protests is midnight tonight so once I've received the all clear that we have no protests I'll get them up for you tomorrow evening. If there does happen to be a protest for this division I'll post here to let you know that there will be a delay because of that.
