PAGNIAN Prize comp 1: Quali LEADERBOARD

This comp is for all Aus/Nz GT5 racers not just our group of regulars. It is great exposure for our league to show case what we have to offer and our sponsor has put up a fantastic prise to help us attract new members, your comments dont really make our new members feel too welcome trusty, I know what you meant but this comp is for old members as well as new no matter how new or how old.
Some may stick around and race some may not but thats up to them, once they see how our series runs and the different comps we are running and the great post race rambling for the podium placers and future prise events, Im sure more will stay and play than not.
Future prize events will be more accessible by all, might be an event where you race and prise is awarded to a random placement so anybody can win by chance. But this first one is to get the best and reward them for being so, and we have clearly got some of the best in the top 10 there, and I would love it if they raced in some of our future events.
Dont forget Pagnian are offering members special discounts on products which will be announced in the near future i believe.

Sorry guys, by no means did i mean for anyone to not feel welcome, of course everyone is welcome I agree the more the merrier! It was just an observation, but yeh I can see how it could be taken badly. I personally wont even be making the top ten so I wont be involved, was just apparent this morning that this was becoming the case and thought I'd stick up for the old heads. All good, I too will be watching the race Can't wait, should be some good viewing!

Stumbles send ya time in, need it for the leader board its a good time, i was sitting on that until i got a really good start and finally got the second half half decent. Everyone send in your times may be able to organize a prize for a lucky lap time, gt5 paint or ticket.

haha yeah same stone, thanks for the cool intro. i dont think i have enough experience to be a v8 supercar driver lol, GT5 should be alot easier than a real race car. anyone could be good enough for that, there might be someone on here who has only posted a "good enough to get in" lap, secretly hiding hidden speed. youre like the same speed as us, you could do it

thanks fryz, i think i did more laps then most people to get a time like that so thats probably why...dumb

oh, and trustfire, i dont think i would be able to go much quicker even when i do get my wheel setup, even though it would be alot easier to use if you can get used to it. i might be slow to start off with not being used to it

Just submitted my 6'39. Didnt have much time to attempt an improvement last night, and there was no way I could expect to get down to 6'30 anyway with my feeble DS3. Incidentally, can someone check Jezza for a pulse, that time is not human with a DS3!

So today is the last day to submit? What time is the cut-off, midnight? Even though it will be in vain, I'd like to have a good crack at submitting a time anyway.

Last day today i think, will give the track one last blip tonight. Castro will telly up thing tomorrow i guess and let you all know what where and how the final race will be run then.

I would back myself for about 6'35 if I hadn't gone away for 2 weeks in the middle of the comp. That time was the result of about 3hrs total (lots of restarts).

Also, well done to Bonus for representing div2 in the top 10

Same, I didn't run as many laps as I wanted to. On my last attempt the car was only just fully run in and I was on a 1.5 sec faster lap when I spun on the left hander before Bergwerk... oh well

We gotta race some time man!
