@ anyone. How many miles do you have to do before the 458 is fully ran in?

hey monstar. im not sure how many km's or miles you have to do before it gets to 724HP, all i did was the b-spec 6 lap race at rome, and it went up 2hp every time. it shouldnt take very long to get the maximum hp

By the time you learn the braking markers for all 90 odd corners and give it an oil change you should be ready to roll.
That being said, once your Upto full hp keep an eye on it as this Ferrari loves oil changes and it doesn't take to long before the power starts dropping. Once that happens it makes a huge difference.

Yer Fryz not wrong there!. Your Ferrari builds up to 724hp real quick in Arcade Time Trial just learning the track. But also goes down real quick, i was on my best lap (one with out leaving the track) and got to the main straight and couldn't get top speed out of it. Went out and into GT life to do the oil change and it was down to 689hp, wasn't too many laps since last oil change either (lot of restarts though lol).
Just a note, everyone make sure you only submit laps done in Arcade Time Trial, free run in Gt Life practice is not accepted. You can differentiate which is which by the title of the save. Arcade Time Trial has "Time Trial best lap save" and the one done in Gt life practice has "free run best lap".

Where does it say when the comp officially starts?

Originally it was stated in the competition announcement that it whould commence on the 15th of August and the final 10 whould be decided on the 31st. The start date of 15th is when the ladder will start updating and also gives organisers time to sort out any unforseen problems and get all the times coming in sorted. All is sorted out now i think and all times already submitted that pass the criteria are in. The ladder should start being updated shortly, so you will soon know how fast you have to go to make the prise round top 10, and got till the 31st to squeeze in there.
So submit your time if you have one, I only done a few full laps and not so quick, 6.40.3 with a lot of inconsistent cornering. Can probably get 6 seconds back on that with what I know of the track so far, but I whould have to put it all together in the 1 lap. Need to spend more time on it I guess, have learnt a lot (slowly) of this track I hated and never done much before.

Would it be possible for all the fastest laps be posted. Cause even though someone will submit a time, if they get bumped down to 11th they might have another go. I imagine we'll have more than 10 entries.

Should be, have to check with Kid Castro, he has a spread sheet with all the times on it, should be able to put the times up from that. Would be good for all to see where they sit on the ladder, and would act as an incentive to do a better lap to move up the table a bit.

Hopefully it gets added and put up today.

With such an awesome prize up for grabs I'm surprised more people havnt entered!

Yer i know of a lot of guys that found it too long a track and got sick of mistakes at the end of a good lap and gave up. Its for the die hards these settings (tires and track) and will probably get limited entries. So all the more reason to just do a lap guys and put it in, you may make the top 10 and the race will be a different story. I know of a few of you who have done a lot better time than mine so send them in.
