Incident Report
Game: Project Cars
Round: Rd 2
Description: contact between cob and V8power
Decision: ON APPEAL - Race incident - no penalty warranted


The appeals group have had a look at the incident with Cob and have agreed to rule as a racing incident.

The reasons we found are as follows.
1. Cob gave plenty of racing room on the entry to the corner, IE he was NOT defending or blocking at any stage
2. It was agreed that V8 braked a lot later than cob, and in doing so actually missed the apex, running through the corner
3. At the time cob made contact, V8 was still off the throttle (just) trying to make the corner, while cob was on a more normal, (if not slightly wide line) giving V8 room. It was agreed that had V8 made the apex it would have been viewed differently.

For these reasons we (appeals group) agreed that the incident is viewed as a 'race incident' with no penalty warranted.

Decision: Reckless contact. 25 second penalty to @Bounty05

Decision: Killercarlcox did not leave room for t_b_williams after an overtake, causing a spin. (Appealed - decision upheld)
