PCARS PS4 Watkins Glen 2hr, FINISHED!

hello chaps,

sourcing interest in a "one off" 2 hour endurance race around Watkins Glen GP (Boot) layout, it will require a maximum 3 hours of your time,

This will be a multiclass event with a minimum 2 classes on circuit, this will typically look like your average LMP/ GT multiclass racing as seen in Tudor United Sports Car Series or World Endurance Championship,

The cars are currently being looked at to ensure that there is a selection of cars within the list that are user friendly to pad users, the finalized will be outlined in post #3 of this thread,

The race weekend, Weather will be set to random, the in game date, in game race start time, and laps will be in post #2 of the thread once the required data is aquired from the top class,

final notes,
race will be held on Friday July the 10th,
this will be a heavy damage event,
ABS and TC will be allowed, stability control will not
In game rolling start procedure will be tested, if not then we will choreograph 1 pace lap and rolling start manually, the laps in race will be adjusted for the additional time spent doing this,

RULES​

The race will follow the ROOZ only racing rules, with some minor changes,

QUALIFYING

​

Will be a 30 minute session, split into 2 15 minute sessions, the first 15 minutes will be for he GT class cars, the remaining 15 minutes will be for the LMP classes, only either class car will be allowed on track in their segment,
*this will only be in place in a lobby with more then 10 people, if there is less then 10 it will be a 15 minute session with all cars,*

OVERTAKES AND CRASHES

In multiclass racing it is up to the faster class to overtake safely, In the event that you cause an incident that takes another car out you are expected to wait for them to return to circuit and get up to speed,
If both cars are in different classes the faster class car is only expected to wait for the slower car to return to circuit,

PITSTOPS

​

While we believe the odd penalties entering and exiting pit lane, they may still arise, this is out of our control, hopefully they are fixed, in the event you get whacked with a penalty, please continue around the circuit remaining to the right side as practically possible,

LMP2 if i can? Unless your just using LMP1. I'd like the RWD Car, no matter LMP1 or 2

all LMP1, LM900, LMP2 and GT1 cars are being considered mate, but I'm not going to put in a class of car that doesn't have a pad user friendly option in it, glad to have you on board,

No only paddles for now. I might buy the shifter later on

Worth getting man , I have mine set in sequential all the time now .

I'd love to get them but just don't have the money atm but thanks for letting me know what its like

guys, GT3 cars won't be used, the GT class cars being looked at are Group 5, GT4 and 1 or 2 road cars, though road cars are highly unlikely

If your going for a TUSCC style event, perhaps GT4 cars would be the go as they are close to GTD's in performance

Shouldn't Ben's be a circle shape controller or toy wheel

If I can use the speed 8 lmp900 that would be great if not I'll go the R18tdi Audi.
