Audio PS4 wireless headset recommendations - new

For PS4 it's the Astros because of the chat volume feature.
I use the HyperX for PC gaming

Just bought the sony gold. Haven't used it for gaming yet but the sound clarity while on the plane was excellent

Sony Gold are great bang for buck, best budget headset by a country mile but the A50's I replaced them with are a long way ahead of the Gold imo.

My white ones have been great so far. I was considering the Gold but wanted to step into something different

PC Sim Racing or other games? I went through some of those Youtube videos and they were great, thanks. I'm going to head into a few places tonight and over the weekend and checkout some of the options (Astro A50, Steel Series Arctis, HyperX Cloud Flight etc).
I've managed to get the choppiness to stop (for now) on the current Sony ones and they worked fine last night....have not told the wife yet she still thinks they are shot

I've got a Pro (thanks Amazon for the super cheap deal!) so have the optical connection

I wouldnt mid trying the A50's they sound pretty awesome. I was YT'ing last night and found a clip steelseries wireless vs A50 - at the end of the day....same/same

This is a really great website for technical reviews for headphones and TVs. They don't have every gaming headset but they do have plenty of them.

I have been emailing HyperX about wireless PS4 headphones with a chat/audio mix feature and the vibe I got was that there is something new coming out soon. They said they have been listening to what their fans want and won't let them down. It might not be anything but you never know.

Just bought these and used last night. Very comfortable with great sound (run off optical cable to USB dongle)

I was looking into these yesterday. I think you can adjust the volume of the chat separate to the game, is that correct?

Yeah you can if the game has in game chat (like pcars)

How are the new headphones going?

10 hours of play time, still on high battery level without being charged.

Ear cuffs are light and dont get sweaty but still block out background noise.

Roughly 20 hours of game time - haven't needed to charge.

Headphones are saying they are on Medium charge now though. Might need to charge them in mid January.

Thanks for the update again. How do you find the sound and build quality. These are looking to be my preferred choice at the moment based on how much cheaper they are than some of the others

I have the same pair of rigs. Find the sound quality pretty good. Definitely can't go wrong with them.
