    Must say i much prefer this design for cockpit protection rather than the thong design presented by Mercedes and Ferrari. Allows drivers full visibility and still keeps that open cockpit feel, whilst also providing a decent amount of cockpit protection. Cant see why Lewis Hamilton is so against it though, thought he was all for cockpit protection......

    I don't get it either.
    This way you can see full rotation. With other design I feel you will always seem to be peeking around.

    Contrary to popular belief, the driver would have almost the same amount of room to get out if the car flipped over too...no issues there.

    Red Bull did have issues regarding the air intake not drawing enough air though...

    Pretty sure they'd get around that quite easily...either side intakes or an aerodynamic device to channel airflow into the airbox.
