Check the last bit of my race recap video as it should have the timings top left or bottom left.
Project CARS 2 - PS4 Update 188.8.131.52
Various improvements, fixes and optimisations.
Fixed occasional stability issues.
Improved usability of in-game tools.
Improved AI ability at various tracks.
Improved the penalty system.
Optimised tyre wear in wet conditions.
Optimisations to LiveTrack at various tracks.
Improved track-limit zones.
Other miscellaneous fixes.
I hope theres actually weight to those 'fixes' and not just for show and ultimately alot of things are still the same. Time will tell
so far the only difference i can see is the shade of colouring for the tyres. the blue is a little richer & a tad more ominous, the green is a real go for it now push push push kinda green but wait till you see the yellow they have in store as a precursor to code red!
Isnt there a dlc soon 2?
lemans dlc now available, $15, 5 or 6 great cars & the 1971 track layout, as featured in the film oddly titled, "Le Mans"
Ended up being 9 cars. The old track looks interesting and quick.
The track is awesome - made for straight line speed
I am pretty sure i finished more than a minute ahead of you bounty, so with the penalty i still finished 4th.
@Racepace if you're interested in longer races with some tuning thrown in then give this series a look.
I think we can find a spot on someones team each week if not a permanent position in a team depending on numbers!
Yeah mate, im all for the endurance. Love the strategy part of it.
I can confirm that @Racepace will be subbing for me in the enduro at Le Mans
Good run last night lads.....
hopefully the GTE guys werent sandbagging as the times were really close which should make for some great racing.
Now if anyone has some strategy options i am taking recommendations !
Best advice I can give from last night, don't forget to set a fuel amount to add before pitting!
But also, I know battling on the 1st lap is often too tempting to resist, but I think we can say for absolute certainty, taking risks to gain positions on the 1st lap is very unlikely to gain you anything by the end of the race, but a spin or crash will be costly. The length of the race and strategic factors will reward those who manage risk and be consistent.
Benny thats pretty much my race...all strategy, Mate.. if i did manage to pass you on first corners. You just going to pass me on the straight anyway.
Pit speed limit 60km/h Stu... please repeat that. 60km/h.. lol
Pit strategies, have a few as presets so it's easier on the night if you need to adjust to damage or unexpected wear.
Know your fuel use per lap and don't get caught out not pitting in time!
60.... got it ! still cant believe i screwed that up so bad last time !
Will be doing a longer run tonight but will probs be on my own.....If anyone wants to join me will be from about 9 ish, and am planning on doing about a 1 1/2 hr run just to check my numbers and wear......
I'll join ya stu if the boys have to start earlier and I miss the race practice
Will try to get there
So how did the full distance go last night ??
Any dramas or issues ?
